We loved our time at Miraggio, it was definitely 5 star and our room was lush! The most amazing shower with the best view! We had a private pool which was nice although a bit cold. The facilities were great, tennis, spa, spa treatments, things for kids, archery, yoga and all sorts. They were so accommodating and provided us with food on our late arrival as just a nice extra. We organised a well priced trip to Mount Athos, we spent a long time traveling that day but the trip and staff organising it were great. Absolutely stunning views, not much around the area without travelling although there are some little villages to visit but we liked being rural. It was a gorgeous holiday in a lovely hotel!
The hotel is new, very comfortable, the territory is green, I liked the animation for children, a good spa complex that children can visit until 14-00, the outdoor pools are filled with sea water and heated, there is also a thermal pool for adults only on the street, a good fitness room, well-organized animation for children, a good children's entertainment area. I liked French cosmetics at the spa salon.Very nice view and sea. I didn’t like the fact that there is no place to dry the swimwear, there aren’t enough tables for dinner, because they aren’t cleaned, the waiters are generally very poorly served, nobody came to our table on the first evening, the waiters come in for dinner no sooner than 20 minutes later, there is no organization service.Generally I liked the hotel I will definitely come again.The food did not really like
Everything was perfect! Clean rooms and all the hotel, delicious food, nice pools outside, perfect Spa center, very good and interesting kids planet. The Marina and the beach are very beautiful. We will back, its sure. Thank you Miraggio!
Excellent hotel with very nice beach, swimming pool and spa. Rooms are big and very clean, but the restaurant service is not so good. Waiters are very unkind. The manager should work harder on their kindness.
Very good service,clean room (junior s. sea view),the hotel is lying in a hill in 6 levels in a private beach .I didnt like the cats going around the restaurant tables.I highly recommend it.Food in all inclusive menu was tasty and especially the desserts.
The hotel was verry good. Service was oke. If you are looking to make contact with other guests, choose another hotel because they look down on you. The water in the pool is with salt! That was a nummer;
Miraggio is just AMAZING. You feel like you are in Paradise, everything was perfect, rooms, tasty food, friendly staff, the best spa center.. a lot of activities for kids, Kids planet is like Wonderland :) Greece is amazing in Octomber. Thank you for everything
Really great experience staying and enjoying the Miraggio Resort. Highly recommend everything and even in October the weather was really warm and clear. Try to stay in one of the club rooms and indulge with your own swim up pool. Fantastic
Just stayed at the Miraggio Spa Resort for a week in Oct 2019. Booked a Club Room with its own private patio area and plunge pool The first impressions are very good, with grand entrance area, VIP guest chill out room, wonderful views (as hotel is built over many levels leading down to sea) and well laid out room. But sadly this is not a five star service hotel so do not let the wonderful images cloud your judgement. Pros: - Very good spa facilities, which club room guests can access for free and only pay for additional treatments - Very good pool facilities, spread over a large central pool, smaller adults only pool and separate children's pool -Very comfortable bed, and room layout, including large shower. - Excellent children's facilities (so I heard) as travelled with just my wife & I Failings: - The food in the main restaurant was 3 star at best, and reminded me of my college cafeteria. We arrived one day as it opened at 7.00pm and by 7.05pm some of the food dishes were already empty, whilst a single member of staff attempted to carve a chicken/duck/beef (change meat selection for any of the days) whilst 10 people waited to be served. All drinks are chargeable including water, and this seems to be the main focus of the restaurant staff in gaining drink revenue - In your room there is a coffee machine, but no additional water was provided, other than 2 small bottles a day, even though a large bottle is promised. We asked for some water at reception but none was delivered. - The VIP chill out room promises drinks and snacks all day (alcohol until 7pm) but too many times we had to ask for milk, sugar, wine glasses, Prosecco to be provided, and it seemed an effort to get things provided Overall a nice hotel in a very remote location, but far from being an all round 5 star experience.
We stayed at the Hotel Miraggio for a week the beginning of October 2019. It was an hour and a half's drive from the airport. The first impressions were that it was a beautiful resort but very remote. Find below my observations:- 1) the Hotel stated it provided tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms. It did but only enough tea and coffee for the first day. After that you where expected to use the mini bar or room servie at a cost. So this is a bit misleading, and I haven't experienced this is any other 5 star hotel. 2) There was no general shop on the site. So you have to either buy everything from the Hotel, at 5 star prices. Alternatively there was a bus provided by the hotel to take you to Pefkohori which is appoximately 8.7 miles away, but this left at 10.30 and did not returned at 5:00. If you wanted to return earlier it cost 20 euros by taxi. However there are shops there to buy supplies. 3)All the drinks and food where really expensive. 4) The resort was in a valley and it wasn't easy t go for a walk, and there was no site-seeing. You would really need to hire a car if you didn't just want to sit by the pools or on the beach all week. 5) The TV provided in the room had very limited uk channels, basically news only. There were alot of Russian and German channels. 6) Evening entertainment was not 5 star and very basic. The website is a bit misleading. 7) The water sports again were very expensive. The jet ski was 50 euros for single use for 15minutes. There was an October 20% discount. We were offerred a boat trip for 80 euros each, not including lunch. 8) Limited on site shopping:- no food, papers, each.. 9) Very few English guests. Mainly Greek, Russian and German. 10) Food was definitely not 5 Star. 11) There was a sewage smell, especailly in the evening. From the sewage plant on the resort. 12) There were a few days with low flying jets, so noisy. 13) Staff didn't really understand English very well. It was a different experince than going to a Greek Island where the staff and local people are more welcoming. 14) The beach has a lot of pebbles on entering the water. Beach/paddle shoes are really required. 14) On a positive note the Spa was excellent and the views from the resort were beautiful. Would I return to this resort? No
