Inside, the cottage has a warm, open-plan layout combining traditional Karpathian character with modern comforts. The space includes a living and dining area, a fully equipped kitchen with oven, cooktop and refrigerator, a modern bathroom with washing machine, air conditioning, TV and fast Starlink Wi-Fi.



One of the cottage’s most distinctive features is its traditional Karpathian-style raised wooden sleeping area with a double bed. Integrated into the main living space and partially screened by a curtain, it reflects a traditional style of sleeping found in Karpathian homes and gives the cottage its unique local character.



Outside, guests have a spacious private stone patio surrounded by nature and grapevines. Enjoy breakfast or a morning coffee overlooking the sea, relax outdoors during the day, or prepare dinner on the built-in BBQ and unwind beneath the stars.



Kyra Panagia Beach is approximately 15 minutes away by car. The cottage is also well positioned for exploring traditional villages, hiking routes, scenic viewpoints and some of Karpathos’ most beautiful beaches.

Kyra Panagia Beach is approximately 15 minutes away by car, while traditional villages, local tavernas, hiking trails, scenic coastal routes and many of the island’s beaches can be explored within the surrounding area.



The final approach to the cottage follows a short rural road typical of the area. It is accessible with a standard vehicle; we simply recommend driving slowly and carefully, particularly if you are unfamiliar with Karpathos’ rural roads.

Other Things to Note:

Irene’s Cottage is set in a peaceful countryside location surrounded by nature. As with rural properties, guests may occasionally encounter insects or other small wildlife, particularly during the warmer months.



A car or motorbike is strongly recommended for reaching the cottage and exploring Karpathos. The final section of the approach is a short unpaved rural road that is accessible with a standard vehicle. We recommend driving slowly and carefully.
