Karpathos might be a lovely place but don’t stay here. Don’t even consider it. The front office is completely non-communicative and if you finally speak to them, incredibly rude and don’t seem to understand filoxenia or, hospitality. Now, I will say that I made a mistake by booking a non-refundable room, so I obviously had every intention of going. But as soon as I booked the hotel ( 3 months prior to the reservation) and began booking my ferry, I sadly realized that there were no boats to Karpathos on the dates I booked. Panicked, I began calling the hotel but nobody ever picked up. I emailed two different emails, nobody responded. Finally I found a cell phone number and spoke with Evi (in Greek) who seemed to understand my situation and was willing to work with me but she asked me to call back after 2PM when she would be in the office. When I did, she didn’t pick up. I left a message. I then set about rearranging our trip to accommodate the boat schedule which meant adding a night. I thought maybe they would be flexible with this as it was additional revenue and according to their website, the room was available. I was wrong. After finally getting Evi on the phone again and her asking me to call again after 2, which I did more than 5 times to no avail and with cell phone texts and more emails, I finally got an email response asking me for a one night stay penalty to change. Now that would be ok if I was cancelling but as it was, I was adding a night, so I felt this was unfair. Then I got a phone call the likes of which still amazes me. I had a fluent English speaker who berated me for making the stupid mistake and yelling at me how the move would leave them with an unfillable gap and how I don’t understand the hotel business. Well, I am a frequent traveler and no hotel has ever spoken to me like that so maybe it is he who doesn’t understand the hotel business. In the end, I chose to accept a 1600 euro loss rather than pay them another cent of my money. Which is gross considering they will rent it for sure, as the booking was high season. They are greedy, mean, unhelpful and inhospitable. Take your holiday somewhere else.
The hotel is very clean and the pool has recently been updated. Great or relaxing around after a long day out and about. It is ideally located next to beaches, tavernas, and a short walk into Arkasa. Great value for your money!
What a fantastic place to stay, a simple but enjoyable breakfast, great hosts, small with great customer service. The room had recently been renovated, was very clean and pleasant with a wonderful view. Would definitely stay again. Not cheap but worth every penny. Loved the area, loved the island.
Having the honour to live in these villas for two times, I suppose that its makes you feel like "HOME". Located in the entrance of Arkasa village, on tp of a hill, which gives you the possibility to live one of the best sunset views of the island Very cozy rooms, with high standards, fully modern! Evi, the housekeeper will welcome you with her best smile and ensure you that your stay will be unforgettable. Try the home made breakfast!

We have been with our 3 kids for first time this year in august. Fantastic place, good service in rooms and Evi, the blond owner, is really very gentle and always welcoming offering something to drink or to eat. For sure one of the best resort in Karpatos. I think we will visit again next year.

We had been enjoying our stay at Villas for over a week. In a few words, the place is great. It is well decorated, both the whole living complex and the studios on their own. There are a nice swimming pool to chill out after the lunch and sea- and cityviews to enjoy. There are some minor inconviences, though. Like the hair-dryer was broken and the iron was impossible to use not to leave marks on clothes. There is no hot water in the morning and at night. And we could connect to the wi-fi only in certain spots in our studio - but it works just fine in the pool area. As for the service, we had our room cleaned and towels changed every day. The hotel owner is a very nice and helpful lady, so special thanks to Evi!
