Very clean property with good amenities, close to restaurant and shopping.

Bathroom basins small, parking was a problem at times, front door difficult to open (too heavy), some parking spaces too small.

Hotel Ian perfect for what it is. Rooms are clean and comfortable but don’t expect a fancy resort style. The customer service is ok but could be better. They seem to not have a large staff so at time that limited them. My biggest issue which is the reason why I didn’t give them the best rating is that the front desk closes at some point in the middle of the night and I was not notified. It doesn’t sound like a big problem but when the front desk is holding some of your personal items and you need to leave to the airport at 6am and nobody is available to help you, it’s a big problem. Luckily we were able to get a phone number for the manager and she was on her way in to work early that day but this could have been a serious issue that could have been avoided us they warned us that they wouldn’t be available 24/7 like most hotels.

The people are great, the grounds are well maintained, The TV was a bit complicated for a hotel, getting it to work had a learning curve

We liked the location, pool area, free music on Sat night by the pool. Also,!the kitchenette was handy. The toiletries were also very nice.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was only a few steps away from the ocean which was amazing. I liked that the hotel was super close to stores, restaurant, the beach, etc. I definitely would come back!

The hotel size and location is what we liked better than our next stay at a big resort on the south coast. It was quiet, the grounds are beautiful, nice beach and pool area, and the shops nearby were convenient.

this place is ok.. the area is mostly condos and nice resorts.. i think i would stick with getting a condo next time that has a/c. it would be great if it would go 3 hours without raining on this god-forsaken island!

Front desk check in sooooooo slow and not well informed Tagged on extra twenty dollar fee not disclosed prior Maids entered room at 7 am ignoring DND on door Bathroom old and tub pad dirty and light makes loud noise

We stayed here to be near the airport for a flight out. Nice location being right on the beach. Pleasant setting, nice pool bar.

at first glance its a pretty spot with maintained buildings, small pool area, as these condos are rented out separately each unit is different inside.....main office basically hands out keys, and other than cleaning there is no " staff: we had to run in the rain to our room with bags, saw a covered golf cart but was not offered... 3 floors, no elevators dvd machine that offers free dvd use, had ancient dvds, no of the recent titles displayed were in machine. good: on beach, lively restaurant next door, decent coffee shop on site, nearby coconut center has great deli and takeout... traffic in this area is BAD, called the crawl, a daily event

We stayed here for 5 nights it was a great experience. I highly recommend the hotel it is central to a lot of things to do on Kauai.

We had a room facing the ocean. Lovely. Hotel was centrally located for easy access to the entire island. Very close to food markets and restaurants. Just a perfect vacation overall.

First time on this island, very laid back and friendly. The property is right on the beach, we had an ocean view with allowed us to see the ocean from our balcony! Staff was friendly and had great suggestions on restaurants and the island tours!

Islander on the Beach is a quaint, quiet beachfront property. It is nicely landscaped and within walking distance of a couple of good restaurants on either side. The front desk was very accommodating when my husband requested a specific floor and location at the time of check in.

Nice location of this hotel. $20.00 add on fee is crazy for what you get and The beach is littered with trash and tree limbs but still usable. Staff was great and the Roosters were a great treat for early morning alarms!

Our room open to the beach and we really enjoyed our stay there. Room was very clean and the staff was very friendly.

Nice aging hotel. On the beach with a great view. I thought the $20/day resort fee was a little much, and it was a way to try and hide the true cost of the room. Parking was a problem. It also was a little difficult to find when arriving after dark.

right on the beach. great location. near coconut marketplace. shops, restaurants . Well manicured grounds .
