I liked everything about this stay with one exception. I didn’t like the idea that room was maintained only mid stay. We booked for a seven day stay and the room was only attended to mid stay. Otherwise all else was fine.

Islander on the Beach Kauai

We had great experiences with the front desk staff-very friendly helpful and full of Aloha spirit. The property is a good location near restaurants and shopping. We were upgraded to an ocean front room which was lovely. The pool and hot tub area was clean and there was plenty of seating. We had good service at the pool bar as well. The grounds are well taken care of. Our room was dated but clean. We also received several dining coupons and a complimentary bike rental which was great! The store in the shopping center adjacent to the property had food options as well as drinks, souvenirs-super convenient.

I have to report that Anya (behind the front desk) was wonderful! Our reservation at the Aston in Poipu was cancelled 10 days after we made it for no good reason and Anya & this location made everything happy again! Anya deserves a raise. ❤

Nice place.

Really nice place with beautiful landscaping. Only issue was a/c not working properly, and they couldn't seem to fix it. Other than that, I would recommend it, and will stay there again if I ever make it back to Kauai.

Great Location and Vibe on the Island

Great spot and great location. Central to drive to north shore (Hanalei and Princeville) and to drive to Poipu. Also easy drive from airport. Great spot with Coconut Marketplace at the doorstep too! Parking easy too!

We loved our stay steps from the beach, as well as steps from a hot tub/pool/bar. Great dining and shopping choices short walks away. Please note that this beach sand is finely crushed sand, which sticks like glue to the human skin, and this turns to rocks not much last ankle depth. Beautiful sunrises. Saw whales and a sea lion (February). Everyone was friendly.

This an older property (1970) and units need updating. This is not an accessible property, ground units ok, no elevators for upper units. The grounds are beautiful, staff marvelous.
