The room was appropiate. There was breakfast but that was not the greatest with very watery coffee.

Rooms were nice and clean, but common areas (halls and stairwells were dirty. Breakfast was cold cereals and bread stuffs. Nice basic accomodations.

Not so good

Facility is very old inside and out. Beds were clean but everything was old.

People pounded on our door at 12:25am. Scared me to death. Then running and slamming doors 1:25am. Enjoy isn't management watching monitor and doing something. Single female, I didn't want to open door. Suite was very small. Not two separate rooms. Hot tub loud. Disappointing for price.

I was visiting a friend and it was easy to get to. Since it's right off I 55, I have easy access to Bloomington and Chicago.

The phone and alarm clock did not work properly. No wake up call possible. Staff didn't care and no reduction in bill was offered. Overslept by an hour and got a late start on a 600 mile drive.

It's a typical super 8. Decent room at a decent price for when you just want to catch some shut eye and move on. Disappointed in the breakfast bar, usually at least expect donuts, rolls or muffins, but cold cereal, toast and coffee were the fare. I would stay here again under the circumstances, and there is a McDonald's nearby with a good dollar menu of breakfast items.

I have stayed at many hotels in my travels. I have ranked this particular location the third worst hotel in all the places I have stayed. First, I reserved a non-smoking room-received a SMOKING room with not as much as an offer for a discount or an apology for an obvious slip-up on their part. The front desk clerk both evening and morning were less-than-interested in me or my needs. The room was primitive. The shower was a stand-up only shower. No tub. The vanity was separate in the room. The TV was older, but worked. The bed was awful. Mattress was high in the middle and sloped off to the ends. The pillows were almost not considered pillows. They were fabric, they had covers, but as far as fluffy or close to new-NOPE. Terrible. Let's go on to others amenities. One small bar of soap was offered. The "continental" breakfast featured almost no food. Not tables to eat your food at. The coffee was like drinking warm dish water. Good thing there was fast food nearby. My final recommendation: Either stay in Pontiac or wait for 20-30 min more and stay elsewhere. You will be wasting your money if you stay here. GO ELSEWHERE! Seriously!

Stay was Jan. 2013 -format will not allow current date. Front desk person insisted we needed a AAA membership for the booked rate, even though we selected a standard room. Tried to charge more for that and early check-in until we threatened to go to hotel across street! We did not need early check-in; just tried telling them we would return later in evening for check-in. But all looked and smelled clean. Mattress needs updating. Located right off highway & near gas & food places so it served our needs well. Couple of strange things: an orange was left under a dresser & some noises during the night disturbing our sleep... we were the only people staying in hotel.

The hotel was close to downtown which was perfect. It was clean and everyone was very friendly, however the breakfast was really poor.

PERFECT FOR THE LAUNCH OF OUR RT 66 TRIP we had a great trip

After a long flight and a long drive I was kind of surprised by how long it took to check in. This wasn't a horrible experience by any means and the clerk continued to apologize. If there was one thing I could change it would be that. Otherwise, the trip was fine, I slept well and found all the accomodations adequate.

Thank you for your review as well as your business. Our rooms were updated with new carpet, drapes, furniture and artwork less than 2 years ago. I regret that you felt everything was "old". Hope you stay with us again.
