1. The microwave was broken and I couldn't use it, so I told the front desk, but they didn't respond in a sincere manner. As a result, I had to go back to return frozen products I had purchased at a convenience store. 2. The shade at the entrance cannot be closed from the outside, so when I temporarily leave the room, the inside is completely visible, which is a security concern.

This place was well set up, close to wonderful gardens, food and shopping. Couldn’t really fault it and for a double room it was huge. Would definitely stay there again.

inside an old shopping mall that probably closed down, layout is interesting, i really liked it, bed was super comfy and there is space under the bed to store suitcases. if u have tattoos and are looking for onsens, apa hotels always let non-guests enter their onsens for cheap, and u can buy 2 tattoo covers. not all apa hotels have onsen but close to 8 point inn there is an apa hotel with onsen

Conveniently Located to Major Sites

This was a continuation of a reservation and once the room situation was sorted correctly, everything was great! Spotless premises and great kitchen/common area with washer/dryer available. Would suggest having change available for machines

A Bit of Confusion...

Initially as the desk clerk was unable to find my back to back reservations and I had to wait for awhile for things to get sorted out. However the hostel is pristine in every area and well located to all major tourist spots. After night 2, I realized that I was not in the Women's non-smoking dorm as originally booked and was promptly shifted by a very helpful young woman at the desk. My Papago app smoothed the way for communication!

Its a nice hostel. The room setup is a bit unique with no room ceilings. So be sure to have earplugs and a sleep mask.

I came late, so Self check-in on the machine. I never saw any staff at all so nobody explained any rules or procedures for the hotel. The only elevator was slow, but I had to go back and fourth between the 5th and 4th floor everytime I forgot something I didn't know I needed to grab on the 5th. The floor layout was very confusing. I stayed in a shared area with an open ceiling between bedrooms/cubicles so if a neighbor turns on their overhead light, it bleeds over to mine. The price was not cheap enough to make up for the terrible experience.

兼六園・21世紀美術館から徒歩圏内で便利。 ドミトリータイプに宿泊しました。 若い方だけでなく.60代のご夫婦.60代の単身の方.海外の方等も宿泊されていました。　 部屋のセキリュティボックスは.革のトートバッグ(35cm✖️26cmマチ18cmのマチ、取手は倒して)が余裕で入り.安全でした。 スーツケースはフロントで預かってくれます。 部屋着・タオル・バスタオル・足マット・歯ブラシ・シャンプー・コンディショナー・ボテかソープ完備なので.身軽で泊まれます。 フロント階にキッチン(食器類，カトラリー，鍋，トースター，レンジ等)があり自炊できます。　 ドミトリータイプは部屋で飲食禁止(ペットボトルの水等はOK) 近くにコンビニがあるので.購入し温められます。
