We both absolutely loved this property, it had everything we needed and was the perfect base for exploring the area. We didn't see any barn kitties or cows but in every other way it was fabulous and really helped in making our vacation the very best.

If you want a unique place to stay in Kanab that is private, beautifly scenic, but not far from town, this is the place for you. It has a full kitchen, dinning area, laundy room, full bath, large bedroom with lots of closet space and balcony deck with grill ready for use. The host was excellent and communicated daily. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Lovely setting

Barn loft was great!!! So nice to be away from people and have a beautiful setting in which to relax, rest, and hike the private canyon. Town was surprisingly limited...Wild Thyme and Houstons had good food...Vermillion 45 was the worst dining experience I have EVER had...absolutely awful. A few gift shops and cafes...that's about it.

We absolutely enjoyed the barn and our stay! Cleanliness, comfort, view and having everything at the barn that you might need was a true blessing. The washer and dryer are a huge plus. Barn Loft Stay

Great location. Close to where we were hiking at Grand Canyon, Bryce and Zion National Parks. Excellent communication with rental company. Stairs to loft just as advertised. Clean, quiet. Gas grill worked great. Washer and dryer a big plus as well.

Fabulous isolated property

My husband, 11 year old, and I had the best time staying in the barn loft this fall! The view in the day time was gorgeous and the nighttime stars were breathtaking! We also had the pleasure of running into Gail and getting to know some history behind the property! She told us about the property lines and where on the property we could hike! It was a literal dream for our family!

Lovely quiet spot with outstanding views

The Barn Loft House was in a fabulous location, only a few minutes outside Kanab. It was very spacious, clean, well equipped, very comfy bed and a with wonderful terrace giving us a view of the mesa cliffs in all their pinky orange glory. The sunsets and sunrises and star gazing were all enjoyed from this point. Everything was very easy and we used it as a base to visit Zion, Bryce Canyon and the Grand Canyon north rim. We also liked Honey’s Supermarket( great choice) and enjoyed food at Kanab Creek Bakery (French style), Wild Thyme Cafe and the excellent (but little pricey) Sego.

Pup Friendly! Gorgeous Views & Amazing Host Response

The loft is just as advertised! The dogs LOVED the loft. The stairs are just as shown. Steep, but manageable. It was an amazing spot and we felt welcome. We were a late-night arrival, and for us it was a brief stopover on the way home to Colorado. Many hosts advertise dog friendly places that aren't, and this one truly is! We always LOVE animal lovers, and clearly this hostess runs cattle, and loves cats (barn cats below)!

Special place with nice views

This was a cute spot with beautiful views from the upper deck. We appreciate being able to travel with our dogs for our hiking trip. They loved quietly spying on the barn kitties and deer from the upper deck after a long day of hiking. You can see and hear the highway which I usually don't like but it also made it closer to the fun activities we had come for. It was still set back quite a ways and must quieter than traffic you hear in a typical hotel. We tried to find the hiking trails behind the house (beautiful scenery!) but didn't really know where they were. This is a good spot and they had a wonderful check in process and communication.
