I had a fantastic experience at Ref Hills. Best Western. My room was clean and comfortable, the staff is super friendly and helpful, and the morning breakfast was really great. My car broke down, and I had to extend my stay by a few days, and they were willing to accommodate me easily. It’s right downtown in Kanab, and easily walkable to everything you need. Highly recommend!
Nice hotel. Good location with many restaurants near by. Like the shampoo/conditioner/soap dispenser on the wall. Because of COVID, no daily room cleaning during our stay. The dispensers are very convenient so I don’t have to ask for more every day.
This property is just a basic motel. Rooms were a bit dated but clean. It is within walking distance of a number of decent restaurants. The outdoor hot tub was very nice with strong jets which felt great after a day of hiking.
Breakfast was good. Nice pool area with a grill. Room was clean.
The room is clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub and small breakfast. Great place. I would definitely come back here.

The room was very clean and welcoming. It was a nice size room too. We had a dog and they gave us a nice blanket for him to sleep on. However, the cable wasn’t working well and there were very few channels. After a long day we just wanted to watch some TV and relax and we weren’t able to do that. Also the booking site did not indicate that there was a $20 a night charge so we weren’t happy to find that out when we checked in. A microwave in the room would be a great addition .
The grass area for my dogs next to my room was really convenient
This was the perfect location. The hotel staff was extremely kind, helpful and informative for the local attractions.
The room was fine for our one night stay while heading to our final destination. Convenient that it is next door to our favorite restaurant, the Rocking V and across the street from Kanab Drug where you can get an ice cream sundae and cute shopping. The hotel is close to Best Friends and is dog friendly.
good convenient location, staff was super nice, not super clean room (staff did as good a job as possible) just a little tired carpet with stains at the doorway and shower/tile grout and caulking could be whiter/cleaner. Good FREE breakfast food!

Best part for the kids was the game room they have. Breakfast was nice and and good items. Room was ok for the price and overall a good place to stay for a night or two
The room had a unusual smell when we entered. We checked in late after a day of hiking so we where so tired and wanted to shower and sleep. But to find another disappointment..none to minimal hot water from the shower. I ended up taking the quickest shower possible to make a fast jolt to dry myself and sleep off the freezing water. The rest of my family was as disappointed as I was from the shower temp. The next day i was hoping for a warm shower but nope! Never staying at this best western again. There are many other hotels nearby. Don't choose this one
They will not work with you at all!!! Go somewhere else!!!
