Just spent 3 weeks at the Sun Peaks Lodge. Whole experience was fantastic. Great location ( ski in , ski out ) , room was comfortable and well appointed. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I had an amazing time, would recommend.
No parking at this hotel should be well communicated in advance. Also, no skis/poles or snowboards allowed in rooms but the gear room sometimes is wide open to the public. It does have a key fob, however, it gets left open.

It was an okay experience. Basically pay for the bed and access to slopes We expected more in terms of amenities such as the hot tub is only large enough for 5 people and situated in the parkade so you make your way down to basically stand and watch others have a nice soak and hope they leave soon so you can have a turn. Speaking of parkade there are very few spots under the hotel if you are lucky to get one otherwise you park about a 5 to 10 min walk away in P2 if you have a map of resort and still have to pay for overnight parking. Lastly they only have the one elevator and no stairs(only emergency exit) so it takes a bit waiting and going up and down to access your room or the slopes, this was just a minor inconvenience though. It is one of the oldest hotels so it does make sense why it doesn’t have all the bells and whistles the others seem to have over this one All in all it was an okay experience. There for the skiing not the sleeping experience which is top notch.

The location is great - ski in / ski out. The amenities are lovely - hot tub, sauna, steam room - great after a day on the slopes.
Owner was very rude and extremely disrespectful. Definitely would never stay here again. Was supposed to be our anniversary get away but boy was it horrible experience. Also the 'spa' wasnt even working yet they told us about it and how to get to it but never told us it wasnt working. (Why even mention it or just tell us unfortunately the spa is not running)
The only 'positive' was the location but that could be a positive for all the hotels since its a small area.
The room wasnt super clean but not overly dirty (there was hair in the bathroom)
