My partner and I stayed here overnight for a stopover between Perth and Esperance. We were pleasantly surprised at how beautiful the inside of this place is (especially compared to the bland outside). The receptionist was a lovely hearty lady who you could tell was very genuine and welcoming. We stayed in room 411 which was on the top floor which had a magnificent view of all of Kal. Highly recommend getting the top floor if you book in here. The room was beautifully furnished and faultlessly clean. We were most comfortable during our stay and could have easily stayed longer. The staff in the restaurant were very obliging too, they allowed us to store the icebricks from our esky freezer in their freezer room as they didnt fit in our room freezer (so our food didnt spoil). These kinds of small details really make you feel welcome. We didnt swim but the pool was very clean and others were happily enjoying a dip. The continental breakfast was ok, not the best one i ever had but definitely filled the spot. As our stay was a Saturday night there was definitely a rowdy bunch at the pub across the road making a load of noise for quite some time, lots of profanities flying, only stopped when police sirens pulled up. Didn't bother us much but i can imagine it might offend some with 'delicate' ears lol. The sunset of an evening is truly magic, so grab a bottle of wine and some cheese and crackers and enjoy natures display. On the whole, i think this is definitely great value for money and a great choice of stay in Kalgoorlie area.

So after a great road trip from Perth we arrive in Kalgoorlie-Boulder and book into ibis styles. Everything you were looking for and asked for in accomodation. Gr8 place to stay friendly reception staff but the restaurant staff are exceptional. Your wish and desires are met every time with a smile and a cheeky grin. The photos show contact details the view from the room and the surf and turf with hollandaise sauce. The road trip stop and take photos of the coloured gums on the way. Similar to stop and smell the roasted but different.

The hotel looks from outside looks deceptive as the interiors are renovated and nice. The bed was comfortable with ample facilities like the minibar, locker, iron table, dryer. Room was neat and fresh. The reception staff and the housekeeping staff were very friendly. The water flow in the shower was little less. The complimentary breakfast menu was very limited. While it could be upgraded to full buffet breakfast for $15 extra per person. Hotel very close to the city centre. Other than the breakfast choice it’s a great place to stay.

Refurbished hotel, nothing to fault. One block from Hannan Street and a short walk to the pubs, restaurants and museum. Continental breakfast of cereal, fruit, yoghurt and toast was included in our room rate. Hot options were another $15. Wifi was not free but if you joined the Accor club, which was free to join, the wifi is complimentary.

Have been coming here for about 18 months for work and was not disappointed on this visit either...stayed for 3 nites. Was given a larger room on the 4th floor which was very nice , bedroom was separate with its own tv , the living area featured a large lounge , kitchenette and a dining table. Aircon was icy cold and proved to be a very welcome retreat from the heat . The king size bed was so comfy and I got a very good nites sleep each nite , continental breakfast was included in the tariff and was more than adequate and mention must be made of the male staff member in the restaurant who was very friendly and welcoming each morning. Wifi worked very well too and with its location the Ibis has to be the best hotel in town. Another enjoyable stay at the Ibis Kalgoorlie.

I recently stayed for one night at the Kalgoorlie Ibis and as soon as I walked through the entrance doors, I got a welcoming feeling. The young lady at reception was ever so helpful with not only providing information about the hotel but places to see & possible locations to avoid. My room was on the first floor which was easily accessed by an elevator. The room was a absolute pleasure to enter as it was so clean and inviting. It had everything that one would need for a refreshing stay. The bed was extremely comfortable and the air conditioner was quiet and efficient. I was happy that from the balcony, my vehicle was quite visible as well. Yes, I was pretty impressed. After a short stroll through the main street of Kalgoorlie which was only a short three-minute walk away from the Ibis, I returned to have a drink in the bar. The bartender was over in a flash to provide me with a beverage menu and once I had made my decision, was quick to provide me with a glass of wine. The lounge chairs were comfortable so yes, I had another wine. Following was a trip to the dining area where I had a generously sized slice of apple pie with both ice-cream and custard. The bartender advised they also had a selection of Port, so how could I say no to that. Over all, the Kalgoorlie Ibis is a great place to stay and is walking distance to everything you would need. It was certainly value for money as I have paid much more for accommodation that was nowhere near the quality of the Ibis.

Checked in 6:30pm had to wait for someone to attend reception...not long though No instructions given on where room was located, nor instructions on use of entry card Buffet style Breakfast just average....6:30 am Room was OK Great proximity to town centre if required.

Went in with a friend to the restaurant for dinner, service was good, place was set out nice, it was very quite though We had surf n turf with prawns, scallops & squid. Mine came with veges and mash. Although I did say ouch quietly to myself re the price of $47.50 per meal and $44 for the wine. I would definitely say it was the best cooked surf n turf I've had in years, the steak melted in my mouth and the veges were so nice and crunchy. I couldn't fault the meal at all, I could only fault my belly for not being big enough to fit it all in Awesome meal! Service was quick

The hotel is one block south of the main strip and close to the museum. The room looked good, space for a couch and coffee table. The rooms all have balconies but only the top-floor rooms get any furniture for the balcony. Bathroom small but worked well. The TV can play USBs and also has a couple of rolling movie channels - but the listed times were off by an hour. Wifi is extremely expensive so I didn’t try it. There was a droning sound from some machinery and the large number of work vehicles means the loud reversing beeps start at 5am. The pool is ok. Continental breakfast might be included but it’s just cereal, bread, tinned fruit and some other low-grade stuff - and the hot buffet certainly didn’t look to be worth the extra $20. Self-laundry is $4 per cycle. Still, after staying in terrible motels in other outback WA towns, the Ibis was much better and is pretty impressive for the price.

We upgraded to a king room and it was terrific value for money. Very fresh and clean, quite spacious and the air conditioning worked like a charm. Bed was very comfortable. Location-wise the hotel is walking distance to everything. What impressed me most was the friendly staff who went out of their way to make our stay a pleasant one. Highly recommend.
