The resort is just perfect. There are two amaing hotels in the resort. I stayed in Westin which is really amazing. The natural stones of teh resort make you feel amazing. the excellent choice of restaurants amazing. the rooms are comfortable clean and teh service of personel excellent. Very nice golf resort. Nice beach and places to visit around the resort.
I've stayed at many 5 star hotels including the Westin Dubai and this one isn't quite there yet. It's a nice resort with some amazing grounds and nice beach but it's horrifically expensive, can't get away from the kids and a 10-minute taxi (15 Euros) to nearest village/shops. Good - Stunning grounds and gardens - rooms are nice - cleaner came twice a day to change bedding and tidy - Good selection of pools - water park is good - nice beach and some quiet areas away from the kids - reception staff very pleasant and helpful - breakfast selection was amazing (hot, cold, breads, biscuits, fruit etc) Bad - nearest village is Gialova and is a 15-euro taxi each way. Pylos is further and 18-euros each way. We went out every night as its too expensive to stay on site - cleaner kept removing used items (cups, glasses) but not replacing them so kept Having to phone reception to get cups, glasses and coffee replenished - majority of staff at breakfast were sullen, especially at the coffee station. There were 2-3 exceptional staff at breakfast only - not offered coffee or tea at breakfast except for one day (chap called Yiannis) as they were too busy - pools were too cold, need turning up 1-2 degrees - SPG denied points as it was booked through LoveHolidays (£1600 for 7 nights) Ugly - very (very) expensive to eat and drink. Most expensive hotel/resort we've stayed at. 15 Euros for gin, 18 euros for cocktail, 22 euros for pizza (we don't mind expensive but this isn't the Burj Al Arab!) - can't get away from the kids - children and babies everywhere, even in the "adults only" pool - rather noisy resort and lots of rowdy groups - was like an 18-30 crowd by the pool one day with their own music etc and getting drunk. Westin staff shrugged and said "Why don't you join them" - could hear people until 4am every night, coming back from bars etc Overall a nice week and beautiful part of the world (Voidokilia Beach is amazing and only 15 mins away!) but got better value and more relaxation elsewhere.
The Westin and Romanós Costa Navarino are a stunning resort complex. The views are breathtaking and the quality of the service is superb. It's a huge complex with many different pools, spa service and two very nice main restaurants. We came on a company trip with 250+ employees and they catered and hosted us greatly. The rooms are comfortable, although a little setback is that they don't have a proper a/c but more of a 'acclimatizer' (you can only choose up to 3 degrees hotter or colder than the room temperature).
Visited Westin resort Costa Navarino it was the best decision my husband and I ever made. From the moment we entered the resort it was breathtaking the staff were very professional and welcoming , although I would like to especially thank Stacey Pierropoulou for her extra help in accommodating us with any needs we had she made our getaway even more enjoyable. I recommend visiting the Almyra restaurant within the complex the food was exceptional. Thank you Stacey for the recommendation, I also recommend a sea view room. We will definitely be back to visit Costa Navarino . Regards John & Anna
Costa Navarino is by far one the best properties in Greece. We had an unforgettable stay the room was wonderful and luxurious, the food was delicious and the staff so courteous and willing to accommodate every request of ours! I highly recommend the property to families with young children, they all seemed to enjoy themselves and the facilities this gorgeous place has to offer!
This place ain't cheap but it's worth it. They have thought everything through and produced the full package- outstanding rooms, service, good food and service. Stunning location- beware the mosquitos though- the management cant stop them nor can DEET apparently!
We stayed at the resort for 3 days. Wish we could have stayed for 3 weeks! Everything about this resort is great! The staff is very nice and helpfull, the pools are beautifull and have nice beds. The restaurants serve good food and the breakfast buffet has everything you need and more. There is a gym you can use 24/7 with everything you need to stay fit. It was as good as the gym we go to at home! There is a high variety of machines and free weights. Thank you Nikos next time we will do the superman workout together!:) We havent had the time to use or see everything the resort has to offer but will be coming back next year!
Maybe the best hotel i have ever stayed and i travel a lot... Luxury resort, like a unoque village with lots of green and in from of a wonderful beach. With respect to the environment, many pools, water park, many restaurants(italian, greek, japanese, steak house, libanese, fish tavern etc..), golf court, diving, surfing, kite surf, anything you can imagine. Everything is top quality, top service, staff super professional, polite, they have even a trained hawk to scare the birds at the breakfast area. The rooms are super special, big and very clean. We stayed at a family suite which was very big, wonderful decor and a bathtub near the bed in the room!! Given the facilities and the luxury of the place i think that for what you pay, you get a lot more. The breakfast contains buffet biger than i have ever seen, with everything traditional, and local cuisine and many more. Best ever!!! If i must think of something negative, the hight of all the pools is only 1,2 meters tops and the electric buggies sometimes run faster that i would expect. If you want to leave everytihing behind at your town and live luxurius, with peace, all the comforts, like a king, thats your place in earth. SUPER!!!!
Stayed 4 days in Sept as part of a golfing trip. From the outset the customer service was superb. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff be they working at reception, in the restaurant, leisure facilities and golf courses. Rooms were clean comfortable and extremely well serviced. Excellent facilities on a purpose built resort complex. Great leisure poools for swimming as well as recreational facilities. Some nice interesting features (waterfall and pool bars, nature reserves surrounding the complex) Breakfast choice was extensive with almost every taste and dietary requirement being catered for. Good number of small bars and eateries dotted around the complex. Evening meals tend to be expensive. However a 10 minute taxi drive takes you to Giavola and an alternative good selection of beachside cafe and restaurants. Ideal resort catering for everything from large corporate events/conferences through to family holidays (Very child friendly), romantic retreat. Surrounding area is very rural, largely undeveloped and refreshing free from the trappings of mass tourism or the trappings of the pseudo riche. (Nearest sizeable town Pilos is largely unspoilt traditional Greek town with fantastic square). Only downsides is that the resort is slightly remote - 50 minutes from airport - but probably helps to preserve the natural beauty and character of the area. Also there are a lot of stray gdogs roaming the hotel complex and surrounding area which takes a bit of getting used too.
We are a gay couple and when we wanted to extend our stay we were told by the Russian speaking front desk member (of Georgian nationality I believe) that it was not possible because, and I quote: "the room is already reserved for another man who would also like to sleep with his wife in the same bed". The intonation and the face of front desk employee made it clear that this comment was intended to imply something else. We found this comment so unprofessional that we didn't bother to stay longer and left immediately.
