The room was clean, quiet (you can't hear noise from adjacent rooms or traffic but if you have people above you you can hear them), luckily it has a proper shower and not a "wet room" where water can go all over the floor, the staff are friendly and speak English well. Breakfast is good. With the cheapest tariff you get a sea view room! Bed is very comfortable and internet speed greater than average. The cheapest rooms are smaller than average for Greece and if you have suitcases I'd recommend upgrading to a bigger room. The cooked part of the breakfast is kept at room temperature so I wouldn't eat it much after 8am. It's ok getting buses to and from Kalamata, but when based here it's best to use taxis: E15 to Methoni and E10 to Gialova. Pylos doesn't have a beach and the only good one nearby is Gialova.
Very nice hotel with lovely views of the sea. Breakfasts were excellent and staff were very helpful and friendly especially Natasa who spoke excellent English and was very helpful. Room was nice as was bathroom and hotel is just a few minutes from the central square but far away enough to be very quiet. Restaurant Koukas next door was excellent so didn’t have to go too far to get lovely dinner
It is by far the best hotel at Pilos center. It was renovated before 2years.The view from the rooms is majestic and the rooms has everything you need to relax and enjoy your accommodation. The spot is just perfect you are next to the center.Very friendly people. But if you want something else and enjoy it very much YOU MUST GO AT EASTER.
This is a really well located hotel, with walking distance from the central square of Pylos and balconies having a really nice sea view to wake up to. Rooms are cosy and clean, breakfast has a variety of products and has a tranquility that is really calming, ideal for the getaway relaxation we needed. We would recommend it.
First I got a room on the first floor which seemed to be a part of the old hotel which was not tidy and the showerhead holder was gone. Everything was really old, furniture, cupboards and even the shower curtains. The receptionist upgraded me to a "deluxe" room which was alot nicer then the other one which seemed old and unrenovated. Room: Clean and tidy. Plenty of space. AC and fridge. Bed: King size, quite firm but ok. Clean and tidy. Bathroom: Showerhead has a weird angle since the room has a bathtub. Apart from that quite tidy. Balcony: Depends on floor, had an ok view from the first floor overlooking the marina. There were stairs leading up to my railing from the street which felt insecure to me. Cat noises were awfully loud so I did not enjoy sitting out in the evening plus with the main road right in front of the hotel is quite loud at times. Probably would be better the higher you are up. Staff: Receptionist really friendly and helpful, the man ordering the elevator seemed nice but had a strange vibe after that looking at me alot while he walked past me a few times. Breakfast: Pastries and deserts were good. Hot breakfast not kept heated so eggs and bacon were cold. Bread was quite firm and old.
In general terms we were very happy with our stay, both in your hotel and your town. One point that I believe would make your hotel better: Some of the breakfast waiters were not particularly agreeable. On the first morning of our stay we asked for some hot milk and we were told to go to the reception to ask for it there!! This I found most unacceptable. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay, price/quality relation is excellent. The best views are from the upper floors, which, unfortunately, we did not have.
Great location for a very comfortable hotel. Natassa at the reception was adorable, very professional and helpful. Takis from the room service was always there for us with a smile. The beds are great, the room very clean, the cleaning ladies were asking us every day if we needed anything. Thank you!
The room is a bit old fashioned but acceptable while the match is between the bathroom, quite worn-out and with a narrow shower that makes it impossible to wash without flooding the room. On the other hand, the balcony offers a breath-taking view, like plunging into the sea beneath - so relaxing! The hotel is well positioned in the little city. Goof breakfast in the new wing, very different, nice welcome.
Definitely ask for a room with view on the sea ! Really beautiful view ! Staff was very nice and helpful they even gave us something to put on our sunburn! The room where the breakfast is served is beautiful but the best is to take your plate across the street and go eat on their terrace with the stunning view. I definitely recommend this hotel , its from walking distance of the "Pylos square" where all the restaurants are located.
Hotel is just inside Pilos. Front rooms have fantastic view on the bay. Back rooms are silents but, in any case, rooms are very small and boathrooms same. Good AC. Horrible plastic tend in the shower (BTW your water from the shower will leak all around the bathroom..). Breakfast is good but the inside breakfast room is horrible and sad. Luckly you can prepare a tray (by yourself) and take it (by yourself) in the outer kiosk to have a nice view. No pool (who needs?), no gym, no doors in the elevator (very very very small). WiFi needs a complicated autentication system and is not so strong.
