you could consider the West suite a little more private with the kitchen area inside but You will also hear the waves crashing. See the turtles in front of your vacation Suite. Enjoy the wonderful warm Pacific Ocean, the waves crash in the winter and the calm bay is ideal for snorkeling in the summer. In the evening You will See many dive boats doing the famous Manta Ray dive, you may also see sea turtles that are often seen sunning themselves on the shore or will join you for a leisurely swim. Awaken to the songs of red cardinals, saffron finch, and grey morning doves. Leisurely lounge by your swimming pool and enjoy beautiful pristine and relaxing Hawaii . This property is an ideal location for enjoying The Big Island. This ocean breeze Keauhou Suite is located in a well established small community of homes built along the edge of He'eia Bay. The beach is beautiful lava rock, dotted by white coral and several black sand coves. The two Suits have large lanais with lounge chairs, and dining sets for four, and large gas barbecues with burner, comfortable, king-size beds, and 42 inch smart TVs. The kitchen has a sink, counter top, medium-sized refrigerator, microwave, electric frying pan, toaster oven and various dishes. No stove, or oven. Full bathrooms, shower, toilet and wash sink. Paul was a nice host & made everything easy for us. Location was wonderful with easy access to the bay. Pool was great & view was stunning! Quiet neighborhood with amenities nearby. It was nice to have a small well stocked kitchen and outside grill. The addition of a single induction burner would have been helpful & made a big difference for us.We will be back & hope to see you again next year Paul!

Paul is an amazing host, very generous, thoughtful, and accommodating. This was our 5th time vacationing in Hawaii, and Paul’s property was by far the BEST! Super clean, comfortable, private, and well appointed. We loved the fish shaped pool, perfectly clean and well-maintained. The ocean view was breathtaking. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home! The location was beautiful and my husband and I were excited to stay at a place with its own pool. Unfortunately, the host was not friendly or welcoming from the start and then accused us of lying when we had to leave 1-day early due to an infestation of bugs (large cockroaches, large ants, millipedes). I pointed out to the host that the screens on most of the doors/windows had various holes, but that was ignored and I was accused of leaving the screen doors open, even though we were diligent about closing them immediately upon entering/exiting. I also pointed out that the valance on the blinds broke off when I opened the blinds and then later was faulted for that, even though the blinds were old and loose. I was insulted via personal text messages and told I was a liar. The host was the actual liar and tried to gaslight me when I shared a photo of a large cockroach we caught in the room (one of several). He called the cockroach a beetle (a "Kona Cruiser") and said they were nothing to worry about. I have never been accused of lying or received rude messages from a host for simply pointing out needed repairs and an obvious bug problem. Also, the hosts left very religious media (dvds/books) in the room that were homophobic and intolerant of diverse beliefs. The place would be great with a different host and much-needed repairs. This stay really affected us mentally for some time afterwards and put a damper on our time in Hawaii. Guests beware.

The property is unusual and extraordinary. You have access to a private backyard, pool and spa, shared only with a second rental unit. The backyard has ocean views and multiple lounge chairs and tables. The location is walking distance to the outrigger hotel and the main area where the Fairwind and Manta Ray snorkel cruisers leave. Great place to stay, relax and enjoy the best of the Big Island.

Perfect rental for two! Awesome pool & deep hot tub with amazing ocean view. Excellent location with grocery, coffee shops & restaurant all in walking distance. Peaceful relaxation in a clean & comfortable space with private entrance & parking right out front. Good temperature in this downstairs unit with just the fan going, no AC needed. Lots of thoughtful touches…beach towels, cooler, umbrella, guide book, etc. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The suite was as described, which was the perfect size for the two of us. Everything was clean and comfortable. The location was beautiful, and the walk to the beach just took several minutes. I would highly recommend water shoes once you get to the beach, as the shore is very rocky. Paul was very communicative and responded very quickly to any questions we had. Such a beautiful place to stay and we will book again.

We had a pleasant and quiet stay. Our suite was one of two offered by the owner, but the other one wasn’t occupied, so we had the pool and the hot tub to ourselves. The location was convenient, offering a nice view of the bay and ocean, plus convenient access to a local grocery store and shopping center. The owner, who lives on the property, courteously checked in on our welfare, but was otherwise unobtrusive. We would be happy to return here another time.

Great place

Very clean and comfortable, close-in but with solitude, fantastic view. Overlooks Heeia Bay which is virtually a wildlife refuge. Paul has supplied several conveniences - beach chairs, beach towels, portable cooler, binoculars. No stove/oven, but we made do easily with the grill and microwave. Never turned on the air-conditioning - ceiling fans worked great. Delightful stay.
