Conveniently located. Clean and upgraded "boutique" hotel. Quiet and visually appealing. Seems to be more focused on young and hip than seasoned, business or family travelers. Room and mini-fridge STOCKED with alcoholic beverages with an additional 3 bottles of liqueur staged on the dresser along with ice bucket, tongues and glassware. It's a mini-bar, not intended for food. No "in room" coffee/tea maker. No ice machines on each floor. Free morning coffee is offered in the lobby or morning food and coffee are available for purchase at the food cart in the parking lot. Entire place is geared toward "add-on" sales from merchandise (and the aforementioned booze in the room) to parking ($25.00/day) for on-site which fills to capacity by 8PM. Though there is public parking available, it is far from conveniently located. Front desk is a joke. Huge slab of wood so wide that you have to shout over it to hear or be heard while listening to the guest next you attempting to do the same. Never felt welcomed and won't be returning.

The photos make this place look much better than it is in reality. Our room had roaches, it wasn’t clean, and the air conditioner was so loud it rattled all night long. On top of that, they put us in Room 1003, right next to the reception area. It was the worst location—people constantly walked back and forth outside our windows, so there was noise at all hours, no privacy, and it didn’t feel safe at all.

Hotel is located RIGHT in the thick of downtown/waterfront Kona. Had an issue with our door, the maintenance staff fixed it straight away without disturbing us, really appreciate the effort from the staff. Would easily stay here again.

Hotel was fine. Very cute. However it said it had free parking it wasn’t. It was $25 a day. The free parking was the only reason we chose it. I would have stayed somewhere nicer if I’d know. Also while booking it said we’d get a $10 food/beverage credit we never received that. Again, another reason I chose to stay here. Over all it was in a good spot and easy accessible to coffee and restaurants and the beach however was disingenuous about the “perks” of the stay

HORRIBLE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE

Please spend your money elsewhere. Arrived at the hotel and was asked if we had a car. We were then given a parking pass with our last name and check out date. We go up to the room - it appears to be somewhat clean. There was noticeable stains on the floor, and a weird musty smell. There is a small balcony as well which the door does not close all the way. The air conditioner works well but is hidden behind a curtain. If you want to have access to the air you need to move the curtain and let light into the room in the early morning. It just makes no sense. I wish I had taken photos to prove how the images on Hotels.com do not match the ones in person. We were not informed that housekeeping is available everything 3 days or upon request only. This is in the fine print when you initial so beware what you sign. We had thrown out some garbage in the room unaware that housekeeping wasn't coming in and on our 3rd and final morning found a roach in our room. We have never moved so fast to leave a place like we did. We told the person at the front desk. He did not care, apologize, or seem surprised at all. This is concerning to me as the hotel was not cheap. Make sure to cross reference reviews on google as well as Hotels.com. A few days after check out we see multiple transactions on our credit card to find out they charge for parking as well as an additional fee. Seems very shady. Guests should be notified when credit cards will be charged. Its just smart business. GO ELSEWHERE
