Usually owners at Kona Reef have welcome baskets. Room had dirty floors underneath couch, bed, drawers, and night stands. Otherwise place has excellent pool and oceanfront scenery.

The location was outstanding! The condo was well appointed with everything need for a great vacation. Since we prefer eating in rather than going out, the kitchen had everything we needed plus more. I really appreciated having a washer and dryer in the unit. We loved the place so much, we've already booked for next year. Thank you!

Great clear instructions. Esp loved the keyless code entry. Well supplied. Clean. Marvelous view. Very quiet in top floor besides ocean! FYI couldn’t find top sheet to pull out or pillow cases. Booked for next year!

We loved everything about this waterfront condo! It was fully stocked with everything we needed! The view was incredible! It’s walkable to many great shops and restaurants. Our hosts were very easy to communicate with and we were so grateful how they opened up their home for us. We would love to come back!

Excellent location, beautiful condo, equipped with beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers. Fabulous lanai to have coffee in am and overlook ocean in pm. Stunning - I could have sat and watched the waves break on the ocean rocks all day. Highly recommend!

Just perfect! The space was quiet, clean, and very well appointed with a fully stocked kitchen and beach gear. The bed was so comfortable! We loved sitting on the lanai to watch the sunset and listen to the sounds of waves crashing below. The pool area was never crowded and the grills in the common area were spotless. Parking was easy and the location was convenient.The only issue we had was a problem with a faulty kitchen appliance and it was resolved in less than 24 hours. We were very impressed with the level of responsiveness. The communication ahead of our visit was great too, absolutely no complaints. Highly recommend this location for your next visit to the Kona area!

This place earns a top rating because of its sensational view; cleanliness; furnishings and amenities; superior proximity to shops and dining and owner responsiveness. It has everything we needed and nothing that we didn't need. Everything works, we were comfortable with the sea breeze coming through by day and with the A/C at night. We would definitely stay here again.

The view was amazing, the condo was fully loaded, it was great having a washer and dryer and the bed was so comfortable. My only suggestion is to put a beach recliner on the balcony so people can doze off while enjoying the outstanding view! Thanks so much!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kona Reef. This unit is oceanfront and it can't get better than that. The bed was very comfortable, the unit had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The 2 split AC units were the beat as it would have been too warm for us without it. The unit was in walking distance of local restaurants and shops. The communication was almost immediate, when needed with the owner. We have stayed in many VRBO units and this unit "ticks" all our boxes. We will definitely return here and hopefully soon. Thank you for your hospitality!

Breathtaking views

We’ve had the pleasure of staying in this condo twice and absolutely loved it both times! The view is simply breathtaking, and there’s nothing better than relaxing on the lanai while watching the stunning sunsets. The condo is comfortable, well-maintained, and fully stocked with everything we need. We can’t wait to come back again!

THE VIEW

Our stay was amazing.. the unit is very well stocked, we used the pool side grills, parking was easy, short walk to great restaurants. But the icing on the cake was sitting on the lanai morning & evening watching & listening to the waves crash! I stress over booking places to stay.... would definitely book this again!

True Paradise!

We were celebrating our wedding anniversary, and while we have stayed at this condo complex several times before, this was our first time in this particular unit. This unit is absolutely our favorite! It was just as advertised, fully furnished, had everything we needed, and was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked and allowed us to cook meals whenever we wanted. We spent much time on the lanai and enjoyed watching the dolphins, birds, surfers, and boats. We enjoyed great walks into town and visited several local restaurants during our visit. We highly recommend Huggo's & On the Rocks as they are very close by and the food was amazing! The Maitais were delicious! The pool was clean and had ample seating in the sun or the shade. We contacted the host once to make a request, which they graciously accommodated. They were very professional and pleasant to talk to. We will stay in this unit again and highly recommend it to others. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
