Perfect location

Loved the location - quiet, peaceful, but close to everything on the West coast. Nice pools. Trouble with the gates - no one answered when we arrived, so had to get out of the way so others could get in until security let us in. Then got a defective card that we had to replace. Check in time was 3, but room wasn't ready until 4:45. Unit was a good size, but dated. One burner on stove didn't work, never did find the switches to turn off the overhead fans.

Extra fees and my room was not oceanfront was advertised, but the facilities we’re great

When we first arrived I was very upset about the unknown fees that weren’t present in the listing, it was also advertised as ocean front, but the ocean could barely be seen from the balcony. The owner is at fault here. The Kanaloa facility itself was fantastic and aside from issues with VRBO and the owner, we loved our experience and would recommend the place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway
