Easy to check in and out. Views were great. A/C and pool were very nice additions. We also enjoyed the provided beach gear (cooler, chairs, umbrella). Very easy drive to to many restaurants, bars and a few beaches.

LOCATION

Amazing oasis for the price. What this place lacks in udated decor makes up for it with the location (right at the edge of the ocean) and the saltwater pool is an amazing experience. I love that they blow the shell at sunset and the ukulele ladies singing group on Thursday morning adds so much charm.

Great location and complex but the unit needs an update.

The compound and location were great. The fridge door was grimy, the LR carpet either needed replacing or a deep clean, the shower leaked badly and the shower floor was badly stained. No shades to keep out the artificial light from outside.

Beautiful view, wonderful grounds, just ok apt.

Casa de emdeko has absolutely beautiful grounds, and the facilities are pretty great. This individual condo we would not use again. It seemed old and maybe unused for a while. We had to have maintenance out 3 times. Maintenance was friendly and fast and the staff on the phone where great. Long term residents were friendly as well. The beach area and salt water pool are amazing and worth the stay.

Outdated View is what u get

Old outdated cheap pots and pans no bar ware , no washer and dryer first time I ever stayed without for the money charged would look around, parking is hard to get, not secured if lot full. Was clean.

I’d stay again, probably

We were fairly happy with the property. There’s a gorgeous view from most balconies. They AC had a lot of trouble keeping up, but there were fans inside to help. The biggest problems I had on the property were cleanliness. When we arrived I did my normal check of them bed for signs of bedbugs (there were none), and found crumpled up used tissues. We also found dishes put away which were obviously unclean. The shower in the unit is not designed well, so any shower resulted in a flood of water on the floor when we got out as water that runs down the door just pours out onto the floor. The manager did text my husband to check on us three day we arrived which was very sweet- but my husband forgot to message about the shower door. Overall- I think I’d stay again, but I don’t trust the place was cleaned properly.

Great Peaceful Location

Great veiw of the ocean and the sounds of the waves splashing was so peaceful. The man made beach is great and well maintained. The saltwater pool was so cool right by the lava rocks. Watching the waves splash on the lava rocks was fabulous. Several afternoons we sat under nice palm trees and were so relaxed. Residents rather short term or long term were all very nice. Seems to cater to a more mature age group, which we really liked. No loud parties. The Condo was very clean. It was a bit dated and needs a little cosmetic repairs, but this did not bother us. Everything worked well. The check in process went very well. We loved the keyless entry. You the option of getting exercise by using the stairs, but there is an elevator if you need to avoid stairs. The condo did not have any unpleasent odors. The kitchen was well stocked with applicances and cookware. We just had to buy food. The managment company was great. We will definately try to stay here again

We had a great stay! Perfect size for 2 people. Can’t beat the location - right in the ocean with a beautiful view from the balcony. Nice little beach, pool, and garden area.

Tranquil Ocean View Condo

Quiet and serene property. Fantastic location. Unit has beautiful view of ocean from lanai. Fully stocked kitchen. Furnishings are a bit dated and bed was really uncomfortable -but the cleanliness of unit overcomes these minor issues. This is a literal oasis. Parking is limited. Enjoyed my stay. Favorite part was salt water pool by ocean.

Exactly as listed - Amazing View

Great location and very nice condo. A few minor items needed repair that we reported to the property managers that need to be addressed, but they did not affect our stay. The lanai is larger than many condos we have stayed at which was great for enjoying meals on. The morning sun can be a little intense on the lanai. The tables and chairs area by the grills is great and the other guests/owners are friendly and helpful even recommended lesser known beaches to visit. The salt water pool at the ocean's edge is great. Even though the complex is older, it is well maintained and updated. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Location

About central on Alii Drive. Its an older but very well kept property. Great long term and transient residents. Best value for the money. We will seek this property upon our return for a month next time.

Excellent property management

I’ve stayed at the property before so I new what to expect. I was very impressed with the property management team and their efforts to communicate and follow up. Better than any I’ve worked with before.

Disappointed

Slider difficult to open, half of the blinds do not close, shower door does not close, water marks and rust on bathroom floor, carpets are very dirty, bathroom does not work, microwave oven turntable does not work. No hair dryer and no beach chairs or mats.

Great spot for a salt water pool dip just by the sea. Lovely lanai and we’ll appointed kitchen. Make certain to get car gate entry code, pedestrian gate code, and condo code before you arrive, from the property manager.

Unit is well located, quiet and while a bit tired and could use some repairs, it served us well. Property is well kept and the guests are friendly. The only ding I have is with the management company at check in. Upon arrival, we received an email from their Torrence CA location asking if there was anything we needed. I replied yes, that the starter kit supplies listed that we should have two rolls of toilet tissue and one roll of paper towels and that we received only one roll of toilet tissue and an almost empty roll of paper towels. Their reply that we received a starter kit and anything beyond that was our expense. Clearly my message was not read or understood. I felt their reply was dismissive and cookie cutter. I replied that I was well aware of the supply list and what was actually in the unit. I called them on their poor response and that I would purchase the items we needed however would share my experience in my review. A subsequent email stated that they were sorry and what exactly did the starter kit list we should have received? Really? They didn't know what was listed in the kit and had to ask me? I didn't reply (we didn't come here to have an email exchange over toilet tissue and paper towels) as I said I'd purchase the missing items myself. Within an hour I received a call from the Kona based rep, again with an apology and offered to help. By then, I had already purchased the items but wanted her to know that they failed in customer care by the way this was handled. All this back and forth over $5.00 worth of items? It was too little too late. And if there is a local agent for the company, why not involve her first? Of note, someone did provide the supplies we had originally said were missing later that day. While we enjoyed our stay at the Casa, we were disappointed in the lack of Aloha by the management representatives. Submitted respectecfully, Mark and Debra P.

The location was great, not too Close to the center so was nice and quiet. We enjoyed the balcony and the view. Main bed was comfy but could Use a mattress topper for The pullout.

Great views!

Overall, we had a great stay. Perfect size for two people. It had everything we needed: location, comfy bed, lanai, well appointed kitchen and living space. Snorkel gear was available which were used. Other beach gear also available (didn't use). Saw some amazing sunset views from the lanai and the pool/beach area. Captured a unique double rainbow. Only suggestions would be blackout curtains for the bedroom. A slight musty smell at first but went away after the air conditioner began circulating and parking was limited. Minor issues for a fabulous vacation.

short stay

This is a nice place. It's clean and well decorated. I'm a business owner and have to take my business with me anywhere I go. I wish she has a small desk I can put my computer on or my iPad. Unfortunately the internet didn't work either. The TV is just a couple of inches larger than my laptop. My friend rented a different unit in the same building. She has a desk and her TV is twice as big. Her unit has washer and dryer and don't need to walk to the front to pay to launder your cloth. We ended up using hers to wash our clothes. Our room actually has washer and dryer, but locked up and we cannot use them. She left only 1/3 paper towel and no extra. Only 6 trash bags and expecting us to buy our own paper towels and our own trash bags. We like the clean room, but wish she has a desk, a bigger TV, workable internet, and allow to use washer and dryer. We definitely will rent the other unit next time.
