I checked in and noticed that the room oddly did not have any trash bins, no hot water in the shower no matter what we do or how long we waited (verified by night receptionist), and bathroom wall had some kind of dripping yellow stains. There was nothing they could do to fix till the next day because they were fully booked. Next day I met with the very nice assistant manager who promised they were on it. I cam back in the afternoon and could not find anyone with an update but did noticed that the room was not made at 5pm. Kindly asked the house keeper who was working on the room across the hall if she was going to do my room and she have me an attitude and said she has to go home. Asked the front desk person and he promised that he will take care of it but nothing was done by 10pm when we returned. Unfortunately, this is a very disappointing service experience for a decent hotel like this. These are basic expectations even a motel would fulfill. Apparently, it is not as uncommon because another guess came after me and had no towel in her room.

When I arrived it seemed as if the two worm at the front desk were upset at each other. One was slamming papers and the other was bossing her around. They were bickering in front of guest, I’m glad we only had one night stay, the room was ok, but the barn door kept dropped from the attachment when rolled, it was scary because we had a small child. The good thing is that the beach was close and the water was so pretty.

We had a great time, the room was very nice with an ocean view, the beach is a 4 minute walk from the hotel, nice pool area, plenty of parking, Debbie was very helpful, we'll be back! I suggest trying the restaurant out front of the hotel, its very good!

The ocean view is a little ambitious. It is over the dune so only the top floor (of 2) and only select rooms have that view. It was a hojo like a million years ago (maybe 40) but it has been a great spot and kept up well

We were not told that there was construction going on during our stay. It was noisy and construction people were all around. Security doors were left open and I believe that there was a short staff over the Thanksgiving holiday. Our room was not cleaned daily and towels changed.
