If you like tranquillity, rooms with wonderful private jacuzzi, excellent breakfast and very good service you should definitely go to this private spa in the heart of Bourgogne. It’s in the middle of nowhere, but not far away from good restaurants and beautiful sightings.
A beautiful and peaceful place to stay for a few nights in Bourgogne. It is a small oasis far far out in the countryside with views of agricultural areas and hills. It is surprisingly well equipped with wellness, jacuzzi, tablets and luxury interior. The hostess is very service minded and helpful. Breakfast is provided at your room with a good choice of combinations. Go there for a few nights of zen.
We had a wonderful stay, the room was small but clean and the aromatherapy scented shower was excellent... We loved the jacuzzi on the the terrace. The room service was good with a traditional breakfast and we ordered dinner service from the hotel which was really good.. Wonderful experience in the countryside.. The receptionist was lovely and very welcoming..
We stayed in La Cabana, small but great furbishing and wonderful view from the terrace to the surroundings. Room service with breakfast and dinner was wonderful, very good quality. We ordered extra a fascial treatment and a degustation, both were exceptionell.
A calm and warm receptionist is your first point of contact, a welcome reprieve from what may very well have been a stressful and tiring drive. Immediately, those little touches start to become evident, scented capsules for the shower, a tablet in your room with a list of local restaurants (and GPS coordinates :-), room service options, mood music...settle in, step into the already warm jacuzzi, pop a bottle of chilled champagne (just check the fridge) and...nothing else matters. How rare that truly is.
Wow! This is amazing!! My wife and I always wanted to spend an evening in a luxury treehouse but we never guessed it would be this good. We booked La Reserve, which is an extensively sized treehouse, approximately 10 kilometres from the main reception and spa. Don't let that worry you though, you miss out on nothing and just gain a level of amazingness. The treehouse is set in a small hamlet across two floors. The main floor houses the bedroom and bathroom and the lower level houses the outdoor hot tub. Luxury is an understatement when you walk through the panoramic doors that overlook the French countryside. The decor is very plush with a super comfortable bed and magnificent fixtures and fittings. The bathroom is filled with premium toiletries and fluffy robes. The amenities in the room are some of the best I've seen anywhere. Everything you need is controlled by the in room iPad. You can order room service and gifts, and they make the journey out to you and set it all up. There is an extensively filled mini bar and also a Eurocave wine fridge filled with the delights of Burgundy. Everything you need is there in the room or just an iPad request away. We sat outside and had a lovely dinner on the terrace and then hit the hot tub until the small hours. In the morning, breakfast was waiting for us outside on the terrace. It's so relaxing. Then you just leave without having to make the 10km journey back to reception. You also have your own parking out front which is great. I can't recommend enough. We will definitely be returning!
We absolutely loved our stay in the treehouse. It was beautifully presented with everything you could need for your stay. Very comfortable bed with views over the countryside, great power shower, stocked mini fridge and additional wine fridge should you wish to purchase anything. iPad linked to terraces and hot tub area so piped music can be played all around. Table and chairs on decking to eat and relax. Bathrobes and slippers to wear down to the hot tub. Perfect. Be aware that the treehouse is a 20 minute drive from reception and is not totally secluded anymore as a house has been built next door so you can see what the neighbours are up to from the treehouse. Not a problem but it would have made it 100% perfect if the treehouse was totally on its own. We bought hams and cheeses from a supermarket in the next town so that we could have supper but the reception can order the same thing for you if you don't want to visit the supermarket. We also bought pastries etc for breakfast with us but again the reception can sort that out for you. Would love to go back again if we are ever in that area.
Very beautiful Boutique hotel but a little bit expensive. We have booked the LOGIS (3 rooms, 1 kitchen etccc) but as we were just 1 couple, we just had access to a room and a bathroom (the kitchen / living room was closed). We would appreciate to have access to this place as nobody use it! Also, the breakfast was great but expensive too! 16€ per person, it should be included within the room rate. Also, we were thinking to order a "planche" (cheese, ham and bread) to stay at the place during the night but it was 45€!! For the same price, we had a great dinner in a beautiful village (L'Orée du Bois - 20minutes by car).
Beautifully finished - everything has been thought of, from the speakers on the terrace through which you can play music from your iPhone, to the mini bar and snack selection in the fridge. Everything you need for a truly luxurious and away from it all stay. It's worth noting that the treehouse is actually a 15-20 min drive from the main reserve where you have to check in and out, but it's a beautiful drive and you are still located on the outskirts of a village so don't feel too isolated. The closest restaurant is a five min drive away in the next village but as we like a glass of wine or two in the eve we packed a picnic and ate on the terrace to really make the most of our time here. I believe you can order a cheese and meat platter via room service but obviously it's cheaper to take your own. There's also a selection of snacks and drinks available to buy from the mini bar - pates, nuts and wine etc. I enjoyed the lemonade with 24k gold in it! Breakfast was good and served on the terrace although we struggled with the iPad ordering system. It may have just been us but it would be good if you had the option to order breakfast at check in as well. Overall an excellent stay and we would love to return sometime.
A little difficult to find but so worth it - the cabins are a delight, finished to such high standards using natural materials and adding luxury final touches, everything had been thought about, from the lighting to the sound systems to the bedding and the bathrooms - just lovely on all accounts - we used the Hot Tub on our private deck, something I have never fancied before, it was perfect - breakfast was served on the deck, fresh local produce - the views are lovely, open the curtains and you have a wall of floor to ceiling glass, watch the sun set and rise The only advise I would give is that if you are staying in the cabin on stilts, you need a torch and light luggage as it is a bit of a haul with a heavy case This place deserves to be hugely successful and I would recommend it to anyone - you won't be disappointed
