We had a wonderful stay at this property during April. The staff was very welcoming and entertained my less than conversational French. The hotel rooms were very comfortable. The hotel kindly upgraded us for our Honeymoon and went above and beyond to make it special. We used this as our hub to explore the Southern Rhone and could not have been more pleased. The hotel is in a great location that is very accessible to other villages and off-site restaurants. Although Spring was about a week away when we visited, the site was absolutely stunning. We cannot wait to return and see the area in full bloom.

Wanted to explore Provence from one location. Explored many; chose LePhebus! During the planning stages we worked with Estelle & Lucille who supplied much information regarding the property and Spa. Since our arrival was a bit late they suggested room service which was a blessing after a long flight - it was the first “real” meal of the day. Gael was very welcoming at check in; helping to familiarize us with the property, showing us our room (#42) along with a lovely glass of rose’. Rising to clear, coolness of the view overlooking the valley with a hot air balloon rising in the distance it was sublime. That day we took a cooking class with Chef Xavier. It was a hands-on opportunity to learn new recipes, gather preparatory/cooking tips while experiencing the mastery of the Chef. A well spent afternoon! In the evening, cocktails by the pool was a prequel to our exceptional dining experience. Venturing out in the mornings, coffee, tea and croissant were available. When we had more time, the breakfast buffet was complete. For our adventures this was the perfect solution.

An amazing stay...from the wonderful cuisine of Xavier-Mathieu to the sublime spa treatment. Original put in very nice but somewhat remote villa room and encountered internet reception problem. Very friendly staff went out of their way to move us to even more deluxe room with private pool and lovely view to the Luberon. Spent our days tooling around the Provencal countryside attending market days at the various picturesque villages. Delightful!

Wanted a few days in Provence somewhere beautiful & quiet. What a tranquil place and setting! I'm currently in Room 42 for four nights as the hotel gave me a complimentary upgrade. The property is in a beautiful area. Hotel has minor quirks like spotty Wi-Fi in the room, and the sound of gurgling water in the pipes (which is super minor and was rectified pretty smartly once addressed). The staff are very understated & sophisticated. Huge thank you to Estelle for making the check-in process pleasant and Ornella at the Spa for her recommendations. The room cleaning staff are also to be commended for their consideration and amicable approach. I loved being able to go to the gym in the morning, the pool afterwards and just to relax for the rest of the day. There are some lovely restaurants in the area, especially in Goult! Bravo Le Phebus - such a nice place & the owners are lucky to have such a welcoming staff!

Le Phebus has amazing, hard working front desk starting with Gael, Marion, Lucille and Estelle.. all soo nice! The hotel is tranquil, very chill and the owner Xavier MATHIEU is always around and friendly. Our room was perfect- quiet and spacious with a nice terrace- we called it a room with a view. Pool is pristine, the pool cafe fabulous. Can’t wait to try the main Michelin star restaurant on our last evening here tomorrow. Bravo Le Phebus!

This hotel we have visited before and it is just SO nice. The staff are welcoming and efficient, the room was very comfortable and had everything one wanted. The Dinners were sublime. The big down side is the pool is not heated and is too cold to use -not many people did use it while we were there. Will certainly return

Very nice location and property. Food a bit pricy with a large family for a longer period. Nice pool area and up to date fitness room. rooms and bathrooms are quiant but a bit small. very nice terrasse overlokking the Luberon

We stayed four nights with our two children aged 14 and 11 while visiting Provence for a friend’s wedding. Rooms were small but comfortable and well maintained and represented reasonable value. Dinner in the restaurant with Xavier Matthieu is an absolute must, but the breakfasts were quite limited. Service is efficient if not particularly warm. English spoken throughout. Spa is comfortable but in a somewhat unusual setting. A very central and convenient place to stay when touring the Luberon with many beautiful villages a short drive away. Pool is gorgeous with a view over the valley, and the tennis court and pétanque were handy to keep the kids occupied. Would definitely recommend.

This property in this peaceful area of the Luberon is a perfect place to stay when visiting the two famous cities of Gordes and Rousillon. Service is wonderful, the rooms are lovely---as are the public rooms--and the pool and its surrounds peaceful and relaxing, as is the spa pool. Lunch on the terrace two days was excellent. One night we had dinner in the petite village of Joucas which is a hop, skip, and a jump away. While we did not have dinner in the Michelin starred restaurant, that's on the list for next time. We couldn't have enjoyed our visit more.

We spent two nights here and enjoyed it thoroughly - wish we'd stayed longer. Wonderful location on a beautiful property in the small village of Joucas between Gordes and Roussillon. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our room was upgraded which we much appreciated. They arranged for us to rent e-bikes to ride the surrounding countryside - the bikes were dropped off at the hotel and available for us all day - very high quality bikes. The bike riding is outstanding in that area - we rode over to Roussillon, saw the outdoor market, hiked Le Sentier Des Ocres, and then rode further around the area, finishing up for lunch back in Joucas. Enjoyed the pool and spa in the afternoon and then had dinner in their excellent gourmet restaurant which was excellent. Can't beat a day like that. We'll be back....
