It was a decent stay. I would use hotel again if in the area

It is right of the turnpike, so easy to get to. I booked for a really inexpensive rate, and the breakfast was fairly decent for the price. However, I booked the room for 3 kids, 2 adults. They did not have another rollaway bed/cot available, which meant it was a very tight squeeze in one bed. The front desk clerk did offer me an additional room at discounted price, which was nice, but you shouldn't be able to book 3 kids and 2 adults if there isn't a place to sleep for 5. Overall, it is an ok hotel but would book someplace a little nicer the next time around.

Room smelled stale. The sheets didnt look clean and the bathroom was small and dirty looking. Could use some updating.

Will never go there again, was not what I was expecting and everything that was said about the hotel was either closed or did not exist.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 1 night. I was a little scared when I read the old reviews, mostly about the pool not working. I called ahead to see if the pool was working. They said that it was in good shape. Our stay was great, clean room, pleasant staff, good breakfast and the pool was wonderful. For the value I can't see anyone not staying here. I want to go again !!

My only real issue with this hotel is the pool. I think its dangerous. The metal railing for the stairs moves and you could slip. The steps into the pool are narrow and slippery. The pool bottom is coated and slippery. The slope from 3-5 feet and beyond is very steep - you can slip and fall. My daughter couldn't leave the 3 foot area at all and still stand, and I couldn't stand comforably in the water as an adult. We booked this hotel with two critera in mind - a pool for my 10 year old and something inexpensive. At $89, with a pool, this was the least expensive option. We knew it was 2 stars. It was a simple overnight trip to get our son early one morning from summer camp. The only plan we had was our other kid play in the pool that night. The room was clean. The hotel is extremely dated. The beds were comfortable and we had a non-smoking room. There was a free breakfast included, and all of the food was just as good as any other elsewhere.

I've been to a lot of quality inn's, this was the worst by far. Spend a few more dollars and go somewhere else. Pool area was horrible, foggy to the point you couldn't see kids swimming, no water in hot tub. Over crowded to the point it was unsafe.

Overall, it was ok. However the hotel should have a microwave out in the hallway or somewhere so that people can use it. They had a microwave behind the lobby. We had to give the staff our food to warm up. very inconvenient.

We were looking for a late night stop on a road trip. The hotel was dated and in need of renovations.

The front desk staff was awesome, friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was less than impressive, however, and when compared with similar hotels in the area, not worth double their prices. I was definitely expecting a little more. Somerset is the Grand Central Station of hotels, both chains and small family owned operations. Shop around before you reserve.

The restaurant off of the lobby was being remodeled and this will be a very nice place to stay when it is finished. The heated indoor pool was very nice. The small restaurant and lounge were well maintained. The continental breakfast was better than many I have had.
