If you are look for a loud party place, this is not for you. If you are looking to disconnect and have lots of quiet tome, definitely visit this resort. This resort is quiet, which we loved. There is little to no mingling among the guests which takes a while to get used to. It would be nice if there could be some activities to get the guests to mingle a bit, like a managers cocktail party, more games like Jenga, or even bar stools at the bar. Everything at the resort is set up for two. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and cocktails. The resort will adjust the table for more people if needed. We only so two couples traveling together and eating together while we were there. My husband and I stayed in the beachfront pool cottage. The location was excellent. We loved our private pool and deck. We were just steps away from the waterfront, which was fabulous. If you want privacy and the best room locations at this resort, these are the rooms to stay in. The room was rustic, spacious, and extremely clean. I even enjoyed the outdoor showers. The beach was spectacular. Very private and quiet. We enjoyed walks on the beach every day. Often we would be the only ones on it. Food was good, much better than we expected. The portions were the perfect size. A very nice touch was that you could order a snack at any time of the day. Service for breakfast and dinner was great. Day service on the beach was spotty. It was either great or non-existent. I would recommend the hotel work to have a more consistent service during the day. Housekeeping was good. They did a great job cleaning our rooms but sometimes they forgot to replace all the towels and glasses in the room. A special call out to Jameel- he was excellent. Always consistent and greated us with a smile.

My husband and I spent 3 nights at this hotel and enjoyed our short visit. Pros The beach is right outside your bungalow room which gives a barefoot, relaxing vibe as opposed to all the sterile larger hotels We loved the sitting area around the bar and dining room, stark white cushioned sofas against the turquoise sea just feet away . We got a free taxi to the sister resort and rented kayaks which was fun exercise. We thought the food was very good, the ambiance romantic especially in the evenings with the mood lighting . Dinner was always accompanied by wonderful wines. We usually shy away from all inclusive resorts but loved this one. Everyone was kind and friendly. We felt a genuine warmth from the staff as well as a high level of professionalism. We had a bungalow (26) without a pool and felt it was enough. The bed was comfortable and the outdoor shower was really fun to use. We highly recommend this smaller boutique hotel for a beachy, “feet in the sand” relaxing holiday. The canopy beds set around the beachfront area were amazing to laze around in and take a nap to the sound of the surf at your feet. We were celebrating our 37th wedding anniversary and were pleasantly surprised to find complimentary champagne chilling in our room during our stay.

My husband and I spent two weeks at this wonderful resort. The accommodation design is simple but, both tasteful and stylish. The dinning area and bar are open plan on several levels, Mostly wood with lush olantation and exotic flowers surrounding the grounds. We stayed in one of the beach front cottages with a plunge pool and, outside shower. The staff were all delightful and, nothing was too for them to do. The food was excellent, a different menu every evening at dinner. I am vegetarian and felt that I was very well catered for. To be honest, we could not find fault in anything at all and, felt that everything possible was provided to make our stay, the perfect holiday to , remember happily or many years to come 😀😀😀

One of the best places for couples, great service, great food, when they say ‘all inclusive’ they really mean it.... all and as much as you like. Very calm and quiet atmosphere, great beach.... go, go go !

If you are reading this then go it’s one of my best holidays to date .... from the moment we arrived nothing was to much trouble, from the freshly served food (no buffet) to the beautiful beach and surroundings pure peace and tranquility . Most nights there was some musical entertainment which was just right, but the best things is the feeling of complete relaxation.

This small intimate resort is great. It has fantastic food from daily menus, no buffet (thank goodness), and a very helpful staff. Cottage rooms facing sea are spacious, clean and have outside dual showers...just fantastic. Cababanas on beach (enough for everyone) add to its luxury with full attentive waiter service. It’s very quiet in the evening as most guests disappear after dinner...low-key entertainment during dinner. Perhaps bar stools at the bar would add to socialising. Great place to chill.

My husband and I stayed at Keyonna Beach Resort July 20-27 for our honeymoon. Let me start by saying, I have been to many Caribbean islands, but this was the first time to Antigua. We did a lot of research before booking, (about 2 months ) as we wanted all adults, privacy, beauty, and if we wanted, adventure. We got married in May, but waited until July to take our honeymoon because Keyonna was booked for their premium beachfront cottages. It was well worth the wait!!!! First thing, VC Bird International airport was the easiest and best airport experience I have had to date. We arrived, got our luggage, got through customs, and in the driver's car, (who Keyonna arranged for us) within 40 minutes. We drove about 30-35 minutes, taking in all around us before arriving at what was our "home" for a week. When we arrived, Clint was there to greet us and take our luggage. As we came into the reception area, Shawn ( the manager) was there to welcome us as well. Clint then gave us a Rum Punch, let us have a seat, the reception is open, so we had our drinks looking out at the most beautiful beach, while he got us checked in. Checking in was very fast, and seemless. Off to our cottage! We walked in, everything was perfect. Better than we expected. It was beautiful. Every detail had been taken care of. Our mini bar was stocked with everything we put on our preference sheet, the room was decorated with flowers, even the bathroom had flowers. The outdoor showers are amazing. Our view from our room and deck was priceless. The plunge pool was clean, and oh so perfect for us every day, and every night. You cannot beat having that view of the Caribbean Sea, and your own pool. Plenty of seating and lounging around the pool, and your very own loungers on the beach with your own Bali bed. The beds were changed every morning by Acari. Now to Acari. He is fabulous. He came every morning while we were out having coffee to check on us. And that would be the beginning of a beautiful new day at Keyonna Beach. If you want or need anything, Acari will get it for you. He literally runs up and down the beach, drinks in hand, and caters to you. He went above and beyond for us, making us feel like we were the only people on the resort. If you need anything just call the beach bar number, Acari carries the phone with him, and will have whatever you need in a matter of minutes. He can get or arrange anything you want. I miss him. Thank you Acari for everything!!! We will be back! Now to Rohan. Our first evening, we went to dinner and that is where you meet Rohan. He came up and greeted us with a huge smile, 3 wines in hand, and welcomed us to the "family". Later that evening, I would come back to the bar and ask for two bottles of Pinot Grigio for us to enjoy at our plunge pool, and every night for the rest of our stay when dinner was over, Rohan had wine on ice sitting on the bar ready for us to take back to the cottage to enjoy by the pool. He honestly did make us feel like family, and went out of his way to make sure we were happy. Every dinner he is there with his contagious smile, and never lets your glass get empty. Thank you Rohan!! So when you go to breakfast, lunch or dinner, you may sit anywhere there is a table, there are no bad tables. Our first night, we sat down for dinner, and that's when we met Francine. She is on top of her game. She doesn't miss a beat and made us feel so warm and welcomed. Appetizers, dinner, dessert all timed perfectly. We did not know until a few days in, each lady or gentleman has there own section assigned, so we sat in Francine's section the first few days, but then switched the scenery up, and met others as well. They are all on point. Again, timed perfectly. We had arranged a private beach dinner on our 3rd night, which I think Francine looks over, and we ended up doing another one the very next night. Jameel and Rohan sets everything up to your preference, and the magic begins. Jameel was our server the first beach dinner, and was amazing, he did a fabulous job of taking care of us. He timed everything perfectly. It could not have gone better. Each dinner I think is 6 courses. Do not miss this experience if you stay here! It is absolutely beautiful, and did I mention the food? The food is top of the line, presented beautifully, complete with candlelight, flowers, champagne and wine. The second private beach dinner was perfect as well. Jerry Lee was our server this time, and she also did a great job. Back to the food. Breakfast was more than we could ask for. Anything you want, from cold cereal to eggs any way you want them. A chef's special is offered daily as well. We suggest if you are there on Sunday, try the traditional Sunday breakfast. Saltfish! It is wonderful! We could have eaten it every day! Lunch has plenty of options to choose from also with a chef's special. The snack menu is plentiful, with several options for in between meals if you need it, but there definitely is plenty of food at all meals, so you probably won't need it. We skipped dessert a couple times because we were so full. Beware, you will gain weight while staying here, as the food is so delicious and the variety is so great. The best Rum Punch to date hands down. No joke. My husband drinks scotch at night usually that was re-stocked in the mini bar daily. However he ordered his first Pina Colada while we were in our pool, ( he isn't the Pina Colada type), but loved it! Then we would often alternate between Rum Punch and Pina Coladas. Needless to say, the drinks are amazing. Also, try an Antigua Sunset an amazingly tasty drink, but be careful, they have a kick! I cannot forget to mention Richelle. After making our reservation, I began planning. We got married here in the states, but wanted our photos to be done on the resort. I emailed the resort, and Richelle got back with me immediately and took took care of everything! Photographer, hair and makeup, arranged the first private beach dinner, sent us menus to choose our 6 course meal, arranged our transportation to the resort, made sure our preference sheet was taken care of for the room and mini bar. She left nothing out. She advised us on things that we could do if we wanted to get off the resort, but it ended up that we didn't want to leave the resort. Thank you so much Richelle!! We left one morning to get smaller bills from the bank. (We stayed on the resort except going to the bank which was about 5 minutes away). We took small bills but started getting low, so keep that in mind, bring smaller bills with you if you don't want to leave the resort. Some people wait till the end of their stay to tip, some people don't tip at all, because it's "ALL INCLUSIVE" so they feel they don't have to tip. We choose to tip as we go. We feel if you can't tip the people who go above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of at all times, you should stay home. If you have impeccable service, why wouldn't you tip? Just our recommendation. Housekeeping was great, showed up around 9:30-10:00 every morning, we were usually back from breakfast and in the pool with a drink when they came. Very friendly and attentive. Everything was replenished every day. So, I know this is a long review, but I could go on and on about how well we were cared for and how amazing our honeymoon was. The hardest decision we made was what to drink, what to eat, plunge pool or beach? If you are looking for a peaceful, beautiful, friendly place to start your lives together, or just need to rekindle, or just get away, this is your spot. We have officially named Keyonna Beach Resort "Our Place". We stayed in #40, which is the premium beachfront cottage closest to the restaurant and bar. I would highly recommend #40. We took our Bluetooth, which was a good call, as we liked having music out by the pool at night, we just kept it low so we didn't disturb anyone. Definitely stay in the premium cottages, having your own pool and the view is spectacular. Thank you again everyone at Keyonna, we will be back! Derek and Sindy

We really enjoyed this hotel , and its rustic feel. The beach is probably the most amazing We’ve ever seen in all of the Caribbean !! The food is just to die for and don’t be scared to ask for more or mix and match dishes . The staff are so nice and friendly. The bungalow we stayed in was very rustic and wooden , we loved our outside showers, amazing under the stars. The air-con is very efficient and so so quite every one should invest in this system. If I was honest there were a few things that needed a little bit more love !! The beach drinks service was a little hit and miss, the daybeds where not always changed and ready for the early bird sunbathers . There were two days where we couldn’t get a beach towel ! And the pool area had glasses and towels left hanging around for two days . We really loved the room but there were not black out curtains which if your a light sleeper like me I was up every morning at 5:50am as it was so light in the room . The entertainment is not every night and a bit old school, only my preference! And the out side eating was often plagued with biting bugs, and I was bitten severely even with bands , DEET and citronella. Having said all that I would go back , I’m just giving a honest review .

Stayed for 10 nights, booked through Secret Escapes in August Rooms are mostly detached bungalows some with plunge pools and some beach facing. In our great value Secret Escapes deal we had a ground floor room in the beach house facing the sea and almost on the beach. All rooms are rustic with floors and furniture in dark stained wood with a very comfy large bed complete with mosquito nets. Air-con in room was powerful and effective (we like a cool room after a hot day in the sun). Bathroom and his/hers outdoor showers were Ok for me although spooked my partner as we often shared a shower with visiting small lizards. Wi-Fi for us was always available even on the beach beds We chose this hotel for a relaxing break from our busy lives in the U.K. And that is precisely what we got. I can't comment on the Island and available excursions as we chose to relax every day in the resort and just loved the beach, the beach beds and loungers and the sea which great to walk out into to cool down from the heat of the sun. All inclusive dining was fantastic, freshly cooked breakfasts, lunches and dinner with a varied menu each evening with an all day snack menu also available. Mini-Bar restocked daily with your choice of soft drinks and branded spirits. Plenty of Sun Loungers and comfy beach beds, such a small resort (around 30 rooms) meant the beautiful stretch of beach was always quiet, sometimes deserted. Service and staff throughout were exceptional, polite, friendly and made us feel very welcome. A really unique experience that delivered a totally relaxing "couples only" holiday

Only stayed here for one night after spending a week on a catamaran but it was a great 24 hours experience! It's in a beautiful setting on the beach with rustic buildings and pretty gardens, perfect for a back to basics escape. First we had lunch by the beach, which was really tasty and fresh, on the comfortable sofa chairs. Then we went for a swim in the sea and relaxed in our cabana (every couple gets one, which is nice so you don't have to race for them!). You also get sun beds in case you prefer those. The beach is lovely, with soft white sand and turquoise water. We had cocktails watching the sunset and then went back to our beach front cottage, which was very spacious with double outdoor showers which was a nice touch. Big four poster bed too which was very comfy. There's also a private terrace area and separated entrance from the main bedroom. At dinner there was a steel band playing chilled Caribbean style music. The setting was very romantic, the restaurant is on split levels adorned with fairy lights and grape plants. The dinner food was the only let down actually, my soup, pasta and waffle were nice but nothing special, but my boyfriend was very disappointed with his fish (halibut I think), which was extremely overcooked and tough. Nevertheless we had a nice time and the service was fine. The next day, breakfast was excellent though, all al a carte so all freshly cooked. They do a western eggs and bacon type cooked breakfast and also a Caribbean style breakfast which changes daily (we were told by staff). We left our luggage at the hotel while we visited another place for the day and when we returned at 6pm we were allowed to have a free drink at the bar despite having checked out hours earlier, which made a good lasting impression. Would definitely recommend for a no frills romantic stay.
