Harborside at Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina
4/5 Good
"It was a lovely place to stay with nice views of the water but the cleanliness of the room was not up to par. Older room with noticeable stains.needed updating. The refrigerator area was not clean, there was old water from the previous guests in our ice bucket and trash was still on the floor after they cleaned our room the second day. They have a shuttle that will take you to Dowtown Charleston which is nice and we took advantage of this several times. But one day, we took the shuttle over to Charleston but had to find our own way back. The hotel sent us a text to let us know the shuttle would not be available the rest of the day. No explanation. The only other thing that I dont understand is the amenity fee that they charge daily but you don't get this until after you check out. This should be included in the total price of the stay because this fee (extra almost 200$ for us) may change our minds on where we stay. And this time of year, there weren't too many amenities that we took advantage of. Again, its a beautiful place to stay, we loved the view, we loved the fire pits near the pools, we loved the docks to walk on and the staff was very friendly and helpful mostly as well."
