For the first time since I have been using your facility I did not fully enjoy my stay. I was unable to get a good nights rest after my beautiful treatment at the spa due to the constant noise that was coming from somewhere around my room, 1. There was a generator or something that made a noise the entire night. 2. The Bathroom light also made a funny noise when put on. 3. The phone in my room was not working , which made it impossible to get porter services when needed and also unable to report the issues. 4. I missed the personal letter that we usually receive when checking into the room. Thank you.
I loved this hotel. I used to drive past this hotel and think nothing of it. It is not a modern hotel but it is a great hotel. Firstly the food is amazing. I loved the food at the Boma. Wow, what a spread. the views from the Dining room looking out to the sunset is a must. We stayed at the hotel in the winter of 2017 for a weekend break and a hot air balloon ride experience. The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was lovely. As I said not modern but beautiful and very comfortable.
Lovely atmosphere we found ourselves in. The spa was busy but we were all well accommodated. Food was ok. The therapists are professional and friendly. The hotel room was lovely and was the buffet breakfast
This 'little bit of Bushveld' in the heart of Jo'burgs Fourways area remains a gem, albeit a mixed bag of joys by now. A pleasant 're-discovery' when I stayed here for a conference recently, the quiet grounds, excellent bed and friendly staff made the stay a pleasure. I'm just glad that I booked on a travel web-site and paid half the advertised room rate, which made the room really worth its price. The Chief's Boma restaurant is an experience! Staff went out of their way to check me in 'in absentia' and send my room key to our conference room, nice touch thank you!
We only stayed for 1 night at the start of our SA tour but found this place very pleasant. The room was large and airy with a view over the well kept garden and a clean bathroom and comfortable bed. The grounds are very well maintained with lots of birds around and the only problem was the swimming pool which was more green than blue and a bit chilly although we did enjoy a swim. The evening meal in the Chiefs Boma was excellent as was the breakfast next morning. A very pleasant stay for our first night in SA
Stunning place with great service. Their food is top quality and the buffet is an absolute must! No password or charges for fast wifi. Easy access to the property and close to shops etc. Want to know what value is? Book now.
What an excellent experience to make a booking on email, such friendly service and efficient. would recommend this hotel to anyone, don't have to worry about the rooms and bathrooms, everything was so clean and fresh. thank you for making a trip away from home the time worth.
Excellent conference facilities - efficient, well managed. It is a large property with free-standing buildings which is a nice change from big stuffy hotels. Snacks served outside. Hotel rooms clean, well appointed. Two restaurants offer well prepared and presented foods - some lovely comfort foods in the boma - potjies and stews, just like home.
On arriving at the Indaba Hotel my first impression was, how nice. At the restaurant we ordered a bottle of wine which arrived 30 minutes later. The pizzas we ordered at the same time arrived an hour later. The rooms are good but it’s very disappointing if you have to phone reception for towels. The first impression was totally negated by the poor service. Maybe if management of the establishment improves, there is hope. The infrastructure is good but the service is terrible.
Hotel was clean and nice. The food was really good and fresh. Garden, houses and rooms are excellent. The service people are friendly and helpful. The check-in was not so flexible. Price was ok. A quiet area.
