This was one of the nicest hotels business I've stayed at in China. The lobby was lovely. The room was quite large. It was very clean. The location was great for walking around too. We had lunch here with some local friends and the meal was outstanding. I highly recommend this hotel.
Everything seemed pretty new, beds were comfortable and is right next to shopping areas in sort of a commercial part of the city. Mall, theater, grocery store all right next door etc etc My stay was for almost a week and a half, housekeeping was good about making up the room everyday and bringing fresh towels/linens. Only minor issue we had was inside the bathroom, coming from the toilet part of the bathroom was some sort of smell, almost like it was coming from the pipes or something, sort of an unpleasant smell that would build up when housekeeping would close the bathroom door while I was out everyday.
This is a perfect 5-star hotel in the middle of the city next door to a Wanda shopping mall. rooms are nicely decorated and well equipped. Breakfast has an extreme width with Western, Chinese and other asian dishes. You will not leave hungry but take time because there are so many things to choose from and look at.
This was my second stay at the Hyatt Jinan. Staff are very helpful and rooms are clean and comfortable. The location was very convenient for my business meetings, although Jinan can be quite frustrating with terrible traffic and little choice in terms of non-Chinese restaurants. There is a large (very Chinese) mall a couple of minutes walk away and a good supermarket just behind the hotel. Staff try their best with English and a little patience goes a long way. Breakfast was the best part of my stay, matching any 5 star hotel in terms of choice and quality. The only downside was that the hotel hadn’t turned on the air conditioning when I stayed and I had to ask for someone to come and open the window in my room. Overall an excellent choice for Jinan.
Nice hotel in the city center. Comfortable bed and nice room. Good selection at breakfast and helpful staff. However the hotel SPA is probably is the worst I have ever see. It's overpriced and I got the impression that that girls are not massage therapists and have no formal training but they openly offer "a happy ending" and offer in room service Wich I find very interesting since hotel clearly states that "spa services offered by an independent third party and do not provide service in guest room". So it makes me think that hotel is unwilling is hosting a brothel.
The hotel looks like it had been around for a while. It is still a nice place to stay, but small things do not click: check-in taking too long, shower temperature unstable, air leak at window (-10 outside) breakfast buffet not impressive,...
Hotel has a good location, which is convenient to station, shopping, scenic spots like Baotu Spring, Daming Lake, Qianfo Mountain. The room is very comfortable, with delicious amenity, smiled service and people. It's a great experience in Jinan.
World of Hyatt, One of the most OUTSTANDING Benefits and rewards ever been made. Hyatt Regency, Jinan, China I called it "My Kingdom" Thank you for the outstanding services. You will love it. Job well done.
I am a Gold Card Member of Hyatt. I stay at Hyatt Regency , Jinan whenever I am in town , since last ten years . The services have gone from bad to worse. On my last visit , I had reported that my room got flooded because of a leaking shower, poor maintenance....wonder what happened after that - nobody informed me I decided to give it one last chance ( Room no 1721) . I had accumulated some miles , and I went t the front desk to claim some of it. The person at the front desk ( lets call him Mr.A) was too busy to even look up from the laptop, and despite having reminded him , he kept pounding away at his lap top, oblivious to my standing in front of him . Without looking up he condescendingly asked what i wanted . When I told him that I wanted to claim miles , he wrote out a telephone number and asked me to call them for help.( without even looking up) . It was only when I expressed my irritation that he looked up and called the number. .......he goofed up again . Next morning I discovered that he had conveyed wrong information. One Ms. Meisha was at hand to help. She spoke fluent English, had good command of her work and wonderful person. Had it been left to Mr.A, the whole episode could have turned ugly . It was because of her intervention that the matter was sorted out .
Excellent Hotel would definitely go back Service was exceptional and staff was very helpful. The food was really really really really really really good I’m not one to leave reviews so that’s why I added a couple extra really’s Yeah, super nice hotel.
