Not a great experience

Arrived at the property ( so hard to navigate steps in the dark! ) upon arrival my child turned the light switch on which sparked ! Marker pen on switches saying on and off ( tacky ) very old school mattress/pillows ( no protectors and stained ) . The kids wanted to jump in the pool and have a go at table tennis … they got a shock when they jumped in as we had paid for pool heating ( there was definitely no pump going in that pool to heat it ) . Pool uncovered also so what’s the point in heating ! Both children cut their feet on the pool tiles and then the appearance of a rat by the pool ended our time there as the kids would not have ventured out there again . My husband felt so unsafe where we were and the property generally needs a good refurb… old / dated / grubby . You can’t use the games / pool when dark as no lighting . Not a nice experience for us … my husband and my kids were actually crying at the end of the night !! Thank the lord for thd hotel we found !!!
