It was a pretty nice hotel for the location and for the price...especially in Jasper. Only thing that I did not like was that I had argue with the girl at the front desk for 10 mins that I did make a reservation...only to find out that she wasn't looking in the right place on her computer the whole time. That was annoying but everything else was great!
The hotel was very nice. The rooms are updated and super comfortable, big beds with soft pillows, nice towels. The free breakfast was great, pancakes, eggs, sausage, plus other usual's. Staff were very friendly. The only downside was the internet, it was super slow and frustrating. Otherwise good hotel and pleasant surprise.
I'm thankful I brought my own blanket and pillows. This place is nasty. I have pictures would love to show you. This is the 2nd worse hotel I have ever stayed at. Paid 100 a night and it wasn't worth 20.00
It was great. First night was rough but it was not the hotel's fault. People without Hotel etiquette. Someone standing outside the door at 2 a.m. Yelling to the other person of the parking lot to make sure they get a certain bag out of the car. This hotel serves breakfast extra early. 4 a.m. So I got somebody that decided to stand out front of my door and clear their throat. Nothing to do with a hotel has to do with the people who go there. Stayed for more nights and didn't have any issues. Probably one of the cleanest hotels I've ever been in. the price was much better than anybody else's. I actually booked the hotel next door then whenever I pulled up in the parking lot I noticed the Econo Lodge and look at its price. $20 cheaper. And reviews were much better. Would stay here again and again.
The people who run this hotel are amazing! They are so honest! Provide your every need and go beyond! I'll never forget Nitia. . He is great! So polite and goes out of his way to make sure you have everything you need. This is the most amazing place I've ever stayed!
Room was clean. Staff was helpful. Breakfast was good. My only 2 issues were that we had a 3pm advance booking and are Choice members and at 4pm we were asked to wait until a room was cleaned. Also, we came strictly for the pool. 3 children expected to get the most for our money $80 to swim basically. 5-8 they swam and when it got dark, we were told the pool would be closing due to lights not working. I had called the day before to ensure pool was fully functional prior to the booking.
We stayed one night and were pleasantly surprised at how comfortable our room was. Erica was so helpful and friendly and added a very personal touch to our short stay - it's nice to have someone who takes an interest in you as a person , not just a number ! The only thing we didn't like was all the people who smoked on the balconies and stairwell.
We were there for work i loved the stay until our last day. We were running a little behind that morning my husband had been working 7/12 and need a nap we were heading to the next job 16 hours away. We ask for a little more time and were told no. So with no sleep we set out 16 hours.
This place is old, but someone just put money into it. Room is updated, clean, and the bed is comfortable. Staff is great, pool looks clean. Has guest laundry on the property. Free Continental Breakfast, which is par and also clean.
Erica at the counter was so nice and helpful, even helped me carry a few things upstairs! Such a great pool and location. Rates are very competitive BUT maybe the best most comfortable bed I ever had in any hotel!
