The host was incredibly welcoming and helpful. Everything worked properly and there wasn’t a single night that we weren’t entertained, plenty of things to do around the house (games, movies, books, etc.). I cannot wait to come back in the very near future to this place.

All of the amenities are great, you can really live out here as if it is your own home. The neighborhood is lovely and the local beach (on the Albermarle sound) has beautiful sunsets and lots of fish! Perfect place for peace and quiet.

Cozy cabin with a private beach

This cabin is just a drive away from outerbanks and has its own private neighborhood beach. The hosts are so nice and accommodating and very helpful.

As soon as we walked in, it felt very cozy! We enjoyed playing the games, drinking a cup of coffee on the porch in the morning, and watching the sunset at the beach right down the street. The room was very clean and comfortable. It was close to local restaurants and the lighthouses. We really enjoyed our stay!

We had a great time at Juniper Cottage! Cute and efficient. Good bed and shower, including one outside! Sweet little community beach with an awesome sunset view. Large fire pit. We enjoyed BJ's Cafe in Jarvisburg and just the slower pace of the Soundside communities. Owners were very communictive and great directions. We hope to return one day for a longer stay!

Perfect Spot for Family

The Juniper Cottage was all that we were hoping for and more. It was super clean, stocked with everything we could have needed, and perfectly located for a quiet, relaxing visit to NC.

Great Little Place

We enjoyed our stay immensely. We used it as a little writers' retreat, and the place was perfect. The hosts were fantastic. It was clean and had everything we needed to make every meal. The check-in and check-out rules were clear and reasonable. I highly recommend the place for a getaway.

Amazing stay!

I stayed here for the weekend with my mom and older sister for a family reunion. The place was better than what we expected. Nice secluded area. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. Check in and check out was really simple and easy. If I am ever in the area again, I would stay here. It’s absolutely perfect. Thank you Mercy and John!

Perfect getaway spot

This was the perfect little house for our visit. Extremely clean, quaint private beach 5 minute walk, lots of little extras, shampoo, conditioner, body wash. Comfy bed. Friendly neighbors bot human and K9! Would highly recommend.

Great Stay!!!

Wonderful private location. The small beach area was our favorite. We went to 3 public beaches, the waves were way to strong. We would always come back to "our" beach. Very dog friendly. Our dog enjoyed our beach the best!!
