Saw them cooking with tap water, not boiled, so take care with what you order. Some of the staff really nice but other really really rude. Not that Im too picky, weeks travelling around and first negative opinion. There are better options.
Nice hotel. Well located, just 5 minutes walking to the fort. The receptionist, Magan he is very polite and a very good costumer service orientated. The room big and clean the toilet as well. We really recommend The Royale. Cheers
We spent 2 nights in the royale hotel and we had a really good time there. The service was very warm and welcoming, the manager really cares about his guests! After these 2 nights, we stored our luggage at the hotel and went for a one night safari. As we came back in the morning, we were very tired and had to kill the time until our train left at 5pm. He gave us a room for free in this time so we could take a rest and a good shower. Thank you so much, we can only recommend this hotel!
It's only one star however wifi worked, room was nice, spacious and reasonably clean, rooftop restaurant had superb ambience with fort and desert view (though breakfast was maybe a slight let down). Friendly courteous staff. I enjoyed my stay here. Fifth hotel in India during my trip and so far this was best all round. Obviously best value as cheapest meal too!
Regular hotel, you get what you pay. The internet is really slow and no excellent service compared to other hotels. The pool is nice although it has to much bleach. Some fruits would be nice for breakfast, and the showers are a mess. They expect tips for something that it is expected from every hotel. If you are a student this is no problem, but not if you expect something more
The owner, managers and staff are so wonderful. They helped us with everything we needed, including a free stay when we returned from our Safari! The pool is fantastic and each room has a great fan and air conditioning! Also, the roof top restaurant is picturesque and food is great! Would definitely stay here again!
My friend and me had a good time at the royal hotel. The Service was awesome and even special wishes were fulfilled! The room was colourful, the Pool clean and refreshing and the breakfast really tasty.
We spent two nights in the hotel. It is near the fort, but in a quieter area. The rooms are clean and the staff is helpful. The restaurant has a roof top terrace with beautiful views and the prices are reasonable. The swimming pool is a very nice option when you come back from your walks as Jaisalmer is a very hot city.
We stayed here for one night and had a few issues. Staff at reception and in the restaurant were indifferent, service could be better. Nice pool area, not all that comfortable as a woman to use though unfortunately. Stains on our bed cover, water not hot. Things could be improved.
We stayed in The Royale Jaisalmer for 2 nights and went to the Camel Safari for 1 night. When we dropped off back at the the hotel after the Safari, they even offered us a room to rest free of charge to wash up before our train departs at 1700. This says a lot about their hospitality
