This was our favorite place in Rajasthan--Jaisalmer is great, Harish, his wife and staff are wonderfully helpful, the food was delicious, also the Young musicians who played in the Restaurant were great, and the desert excursion to Khuri (arranged by Harish) was lovely. The Hotel also has a lovely, clean pool and is conveniently located near the fort. You can't beat it! We were sorry we were only three days there.
I stayed in this hotel during November 2017 along with my family. Mr Harish Sharma, who is owns this Hotel, is truely a wonderful person. He has been very kind to help me in planning my Rajasthan trip. I arrived to Jaisalmer by train from Jaipur and his hospitality began right from train by arranging excellent breakfast and water in the train itself. Upon arrival a taxi was waiting for us who drop us to Hotel. Hospitality and service at the Hotel was excellent, Rooms are specious and very clean, Location is best and in heart of Jaiselmer, you can see the Jaiselmer fort from the hotel terrace. Mr Harish also arranged stay for us at sand dunes tent. It was my wife's birthday and I wanted to give surprise party to my wife. Mr Harish arranged a wonderful party for hotel guests which included a Rajasthani cultural programme. It was a memorable trip to Jaiselmer. Thanks to Mr Harish who's warm hospitality we won't forget for lifetime.
We arrived at 4 in the morning on the day of our booking. The staff let us sleep on the roof top were the tmrextr as until is on all the comfy couches. Then served us breakfast when the restraunt opened. Great welcome. We were then checked into our room a 9am very early. We did a desert tour snd stayed over night and when we're came back to collect our suff they have gave us a room to shower for 3 hours totally free. Awesome lads Great staff
This hotel is within walking distance of the fort and the touristy part of town. The facilities were good but I did struggle with wifi in the room. The best place was in reception and judging by the number of people sitting there I would suggest that it was a problem for everyone.
This Is One Of The Best Place To Stay In Jaisalmer, Infact One Of The Best Hotels I've Ever Stayed In India. The Experience Was Overall The Best Whether It Be Stay, Food Or Fun. The Owner Of Hotel Is One Of The Best Person And One Of The Most Helpful Person I've Ever Met. I'm Thankful That I Selected This Hotel To Stay In Jaisalmer. The City Needs A Hotel Like This ❤
Unfortunately underneath the room (201) we got is some kind of water tank. Approx. at 2am, a pump started to fill the tank which caused very loud splashing sound and woke both of us up. After 30mins, it stopped, but only to start again around 4am and last for 1,5 hours. We did not have much sleep that night and after telling reception the next moring, they did not care at all. Poor customer service! + one star for the good food in the restaurant.
I was with my drive and stay in this hotel is good but guide is not good he take me shopping place is very touristy but he take money from the shop but you careful because the guide meet you in restaurants on the roof he speaks French you careful. Thanks all tourists
We were a group of 9 women and Mr. Sharma and his staff welcome us so nicely! This place is really one of the best in Jaisalmer with clean room and very good rooftop restaurant. The view is amazing and the location is just near the old city. Thank you so much for all you have done for us. And more I strongly recommend the camel ride in Khuri village organized by this hotel. It was fantastic!
When I was in Jaisalmer I had issues with my bank and my debit card got blocked, so I was left only with little cash. One day I was in the hotel lobby to shamelessly use the wifi to call my bank and Harish, the owner, asked me what was wrong. When he found out about it he offered me to stay at his hotel for free to help me. Such a good-hearted guy! The place is amazing (especially the royale cottages) and the swimming pool is a dream come true. All the staff is very nice and professional and always willing to help. The restaurant on the rooftop offers variety of Indian and Westner food, and if you go there you must try the okra cooked with onion and spices, it was delicious! Thank you everybody for making my stay so lovely, wish you all the best!
This hotel was great - very clean, nice spacious rooms, nice rooftop and great location (close to the fort etc). We particularly liked the desert excursion planned through the hotel - the camping facilities were excellent, the sunset camel ride picturesque and the food that was included (especially dinner) was EXCELLENT.
