What a fantastic find! Couldn't have chosen a better place to celebrate our 30th anniversary. Beth and Greg made our stay so welcoming with all the extra touches of home. Breakfast was good, home cooking, but with flare. A return visit is in the planning.
Haven chosen this Bed and Breakfast based on the superb reviews, it is difficult to find unique comments. The reviews are spot on!!!!! The property has amazing views....tucked away for privacy, trees, and mountains. The bedrooms and bathrooms are well appointed and comfortable. Greg, being in the construction business, did a marvelous remodel, and he and Beth gave the main areas a homelike feel. My husband and I stayed in another B&B located in the same area. It was stunning, but run by managers rather than owners. They seemed to be going through the motions. In contrast Greg and Beth make you feel like long time friends without being intrusive. They are ready to offer ideas as well as snacks and water. Greg's breakfasts were a great start to the day. There are no tvs in the rooms which cuts down on noise, but there is a huge flat screen in the living room. Rarely do you find a B&B where the beautiful decor matches the warm personalities of the proprietors. We LOVED it.
This bed and breakfast was an excellent choice for our recent visit to the Grand Tetons. It is a short distance from Jackson and was hidden in the trees to give a true hideaway feel. We were able to enjoy watching deer while eating our delicious breakfast. The room was comfortable, the public spaces were nice and well furnished and all sort of snacks and drinks were available for guests. I highly recommend staying at this delightful place.
We thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay at Jackson Hole Hideout. Greg and Beth are two of the nicest folks you could ever meet, and gave us several good suggestions for things to do and places to eat while we were there. We stayed in the Marshall Room, which is near the front door, but since there isn't much coming and going after about 9pm, noise is not an issue. The Hideout is located on the side of a hill, hence the street address! The views are incredible, and it's very private and quiet. We saw mule deer on the property, and a moose just up the road from the B&B. Greg told us they had seen just about every animal you could imagine since they bought the place a couple of years ago. Breakfast is included as part of your stay and is served at 8am every morning in the upstairs dining area. Greg and Beth are both great cooks and you won't start your day hungry, that's for sure! We very much enjoyed our stay here and if we return to the Jackson Hole area, we will be sure to stay at the Hideout.
We spent 4 nights at this Bed & Breakfast. The hosts were great and the rooms spacious with nice views. There are snacks, water and soda available at any time and they serve an excellent breakfast. If you are lucky you might see a moose in the neighborhood, we saw two. The B&B is located in Wilson, about a 10 minute drive to Jackson. It is a short drive to the Grand Tetons National Park if you take the Moose Wilson road rather than having to go through downtown Jackson.
Jackson Hole is a great area in the Grand Tetons and Jackson is the town within it. In case you are confused.Jackson has some great restaurants, not just by US standards but by any i have been to. So if you are going to Yellowstone most people come and see the Grand Tetons and they are both great places. So if you are coming to Jackson I believe that the Hideout is a wonderful place to stay. It is about 5 miles outside Jackson up a hill just outside Wilson. It is in a very pretty wooded hill area. So pretty convenient. It is a great bed and breakfast place and with good restaurants about that is what you want. The Lodge is a lovely wooden lodge with four great double bedrooms and a two bedroom suite. The rooms are beautifully appointed with great showers and everything else you could want. You have use of a lovely sitting room and dining room for your use. Housekeeping is excellent and the place is spotless. We stayed three nights with not the greatest weather. But this was such a comfortable place to stay and it was like being home with all the comforts you could want. Breakfast is very good albeit a rather US experience. (Scrambled eggs bacon sausage French toasts with blueberry sauce and waffles with syrup at various times. ) but that is where you are but they will do anything else you want Porridge etc. But all the food was freshly prepared and good. One real plus point is the hosts. Greg and Beth McCoy run the place. They are very welcoming and they are really good at what they do because they seem to enjoy it and interacting with their guests. They take a real pride in the place. Wifi and constant coffee are free and snacks and fruit provided. They seem to have thought of everything.so there are safes and torches in the room. An excellent place to stay.
We had an absolutely fantastic stay here. Beth and Greg have meticulously renovated this beautiful B&B and are gracious, friendly and helpful hosts! All the furnishings are beautiful, the rooms are decorated with warm western décor and SO COZY! They have thought of everything and have neglected nothing. Their bountiful breakfasts are not to be missed. You will not be disappointed...and we cannot wait to return! Thanks again Beth and Greg!
Beth and Greg made us feel at home. They were quick to share a story and recommendations. The breakfasts were delicious and bountiful. Our room was cozy and had a lovely view of the wilderness with a patio. There were thoughtful extras in our room such as a pair of binoculars and a backpack. The location is just a few miles from Jackson and the Grand Tetons and away from the usual tourist traffic. We felt we were visiting old friends and truly hated to leave.
We finished off our 10 day trip to YNP and GTNP at the Hideout. The property is tucked away on the side of a hill (hence Heck of a Hill Road for the address) and just a few minutes outside of Jackson in Wilson, WY. Beth was immediately welcoming when we pulled in the drive after a long day in the car. We were snowed out of YNP and had to travel through Idaho to get back to Wilson, WY. We were surprised at the number of small details that Beth and Greg have obviously thought out well. For example, there are many snack options that are complimentary for guests (yogurt, granola, Kind bars, popcorn, chips, sodas, water and chilled York Peppermint Patties). There is a fridge just for guest use and we had free reign of the kitchen if needed. Beth offered for us to use the washer and dryer, but we didn't need to do so. We stayed in the Trail Boss, which has a view of Sleeping Indian, a private balcony, a library, and a huge bathroom. The house is decorated beautifully in a modern western theme. Our bed had a gorgeous Pendleton wool blanket. As I mentioned, this was our last stop, and we were able to relax and unwind from vacation here. Breakfast was filling, fresh and tasty. Do not hesitate to stay at the Jackson Hole Hideout. We will be back here for another stay for sure.
We carefully chose this B&B to kick off our honeymoon and we are sure glad we did! First off the home is amazing, every little detail as thought of. The perfect cabin decor, great sized rooms, and awesome amenities. Breakfast is made by the owners and it's sooo good! Beth and Greg have almost anything you could need - from bear spray, to endless kuerig options, energy bars, waters, sodas and they even have a guest fridge to store leftovers or snacks. This was our first time staying at a bed and breakfast and this place exceeded our expectations. If you are in the Jackson/Wilson area definitely check this place out, you will not regret it.
