Did a one night stay to tour Grand Teton Nat'l. Park. This hotel was in town, close to restaurants and shopping. Hotel was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was ample and delicious.

I liked that the room had two doors. One opened to parking lot - convenient for loading suitcases in car. Second opened to interior hallway which meant we didn't have to go outside in the cold to walk to the pool and hot tub.

Walking distance to Jackson's fun and unique town square. Hotel staff was friendly and beds were very comfortable. We had no trouble parking. Would definitely stay there again.

The room was on the first floor. It had both and outside entrance and one that entered into an enclosed hallway. The room was average at best, but for the price it was just 'OK'. The location is good. My wife took a shower that night and did so with cool water (there was no hot water). I checked and she was right. I called to report the issue. They had a maintenance man check and found out that of the 2 or 3 boilers one was not working. They responded that we would have hot water within 30 minutes. Apparently this has occurred just once in the past two years. I checked 30 and 60 minutes later and the water was still lukewarm at best. I waited until the morning and then we had hot water.

Room was spacious (King suite), had fridge, microwave and coffeemaker. Nice breakfast bar. Close to ski hills. Is finishing renovations, but was not intrusive. Can walk to town square. Will stay there again.

Generally a good place to stay. Updated pool, hot tub, and exercise facility is very nice. Wifi works well. Heat works well. Room was clean. Hotel was generally quiet. Breakfast area is good, and also a good place to hang out with friends in the evening. Bus service to the slopes was provided, and the START bus stop was also just outside. Rooms are somewhat dated, although our bathroom had been recently modernized with new tile. The major infrastructure issues are two. The first is the presence of the sink immediately upon entering the room, a design feature that may have been in vogue some years ago but doesn't work now. The second is the magnetic cards for the locks; we had lots of trouble with these loosing magnetization, requiring a trip to the front desk. That having been said, the desk was always friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

The hotel was great location and what we needed.....bed, shower, hot tub and free breakfast.

Nice amenities (snack bars and coffee/hotcocoa in lobby, pool in odd location (basement) but hottub outside (didn't get to it, but was there). Fridge and such in room, always handy with a family group. Worked out great for us for a last night option after a longer condo stay with larger group. Right in town, and great value.

It was a good hotel in otherwise expensive Jackson. Basic necessities and large rooms.

Should be remodeled and refreshed. Cost is too high for value received. Beds are uncomfortable staff was helpful.

We stayed at this hotel for 1 night. The room was adequate, but the layout of the hotel is a little different from what one would expect. Hot tubs were in the basement and outside (no one was using the outdoor one when we checked), breakfast in different building and lobby in another one. The staff was friendly and the hotel furnishings (Wild West style) were interesting. Overall, would recommend for a quick no-frills stay.

Really love the hotel an set up. Especially being able to park outside our room an have a door to the hallway also. Only complaint was the beds were so hard an uncomfortable. Everything else was perfect!

The room was dark and uninviting. The beds were not comfortable. But the staff was nice and reasonably responsive when we complained. We stayed in a place in Cody that was less expensive and much nicer, but maybe it is a Cody versus Jackson issue. The location was good. It was not awful but I expected better.

Overall we were satisfied. Since we spent most of our time in the Grand Tetons we were basically only in the hotel to sleep. The room was comfortable. The housekeeping was a little sloppy (for example, when the room was made up they forgot to leave toiletries and replenish the coffee). When, however, I went to the lobby to ask for toiletries and coffee, the desk clerk immediately gave me some. The complimentary breakfast was adequate. One plus was that coffee and tea were available in the lobby 24 hours a day. There was also a computer for guest use. Another plus was the location: easy walking to restaurants and the downtown historical area, and easy access by car to the park.

The stay was OK nothing great. Good location but the hotel is dated A/C did not work well room was a litlle musty.

I was with my 3 boys on a snowbaording trip and the room was large enough fit fit all 3 of us and our gear....and room left over. The location was so convenient that we did not rent a car as all restaurants were with-in 3 - 4 blocks of the hotel. Also offered a free shuttle every day to the mountain. Would certainly recommend this hotel.

Traveling with my family and had no specific plans . Came across the 49er and we were beyond pleasantly surprised ! Hope to come back soon!

I'm easy to please but this hotel didn't have anything going for it. My room was blazing hot even with the A/C running full time and the window open with 20 degree temp outside. The bed pillows were the size of a small couch pillows. The faucet on the tub wouldn't turn off. The cable tv channels weren't worth watching late at night when I did return to the room. I would never stay there again.

The 49er is a little out dated but I like that if everything is clean. It was and the staff was very nice and helpful. The TV is new but if you go to Jackson Hole to stay in your room to watch TV you have a problem. The room was taken care of and thats what counts. Breakfast was good! All in all a little above average, no complaints.

Great Staff--Always trying to accomodate! Location in town is just a short walking distance.

Thank you for staying with us at the 49er Inn & Suites. We would like to apologize that your stay was less than perfect. During your stay we did run into some issues with our boilers. The gauge that maintains proper warmth was not functioning properly and we are having a technician come in to assess the best form of maintenance. We apologize that our staff gave you an improper time frame for the water to reheat. We will address this matter with our staff. We would like to invite you back to the 49er for the next time you visit Jackson. Thank you again for your review and we look forward to seeing you. Travel safe and take care.
