The property was very nice and clean, staff were very friendly and helpful. They gave us a bottle of wine and snacks for our anniversary celebration which was very generous of them. Parking and getting to the hotel is a bit tricky but it's a Valet parking free of charge so was very helpful.

Very helpful staff, nice rooms except the hotel and lighting were so dark that I gave it a 4 star instead of 5. Possibly some people would like the dark halls and room decor? Good location in Izmir and nice walking area along the water.

Great location. Breakfast not great, best to walk 5 min to pier for breakfast. Roma was clean but we were on city view side so there was a lot of traffic noise. Our room was much smaller than the others in our price range. I peeked at the others so don’t stay in room 302.

Modern and Chilly…

This hotel was….interesting. It is sleek and sexy with black shiny, slick surfaces. But along with that look comes a cold austere vibe with hard edges that lacks a cozy welcoming feel. There is really no lobby space. The hotel seems to have been a bank or something in its former life because there is a completely pointless atrium that is basically closed off on the top and bottom that just takes up space. So no place to sit and work. The breakfast is prohibitively pricey. There is nothing at all that is authentic Türkiye, you may as well be anywhere for how it feels and looks inside. Lastly, they pump deodorizer in the air that I imagine is filled chemicals I’d rather do without. The place is clean and modern, but it’s just not my kind of place.

We stayed here for 6 days and I honestly have not one negative thing to say. The staff were AMAZING! From the second we walked in to the second we left, the staff were accommodating and did anything they could to make us comfortable and ensure we were happy. The food service staff were complete gems. Housekeeping were phenomenal. Our room was a very nice size and that is always important to me. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was also a decent size as some bathrooms arent that big. The location was perfect. Walk to your right and you have, what seems like endless, options of restaurants and coffee shops. Walk over the bridge and you are in the middle of all the shopping and small bazaar. I 100% recommend and I would only stay here when we return to Izmir. If I could give 100 stars, I would! The attached photos are of views of the water when you step out the front doors of the hotel and down the pier a bit.

This was an outstanding stay. The hotel is right on the water, our room overlooked the large bay of Izmir. The room was so well appointed, quality, comfy linens and bedding. Excellent temperature control. The morning breakfast offered a pretty large variety of items and omelette were made to order. They had toiletries available that we had forgotten. Wonderful shower and water pressure. Spotlessly clean. Modern and stylish. We would certainly return.

I had a truly lovely stay at Key hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel right at home—especially Kenyan and Coskun, who went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Their kindness and attention to detail made a big difference. Breakfast each morning was a delight, with plenty of delicious options to choose from. I also have a bit of a crushed ice obsession and the lady at breakfast was kind enough to cater to that without hesitation—such a thoughtful touch! All in all, a wonderful experience. My experience at The Key Hotel was perfect. The cleanliness, attention to detail, and dedication of the entire staff were outstanding. I especially want to highlight the concierge team at the door—10 stars for them! I was traveling with my baby and a stroller, and every time I arrived or left, they kindly helped carry the stroller up and down the entrance stairs, which are about 15–20 steps. Their kindness and willingness to assist made all the difference. Thank you for such warm and professional service!
