I've stayed at this hotel a number of times when visiting Izmir, for the price you pay its no bad at all. Similar to the Premier Inn style hotels in England. Positives are that the rooms are clean and tidy with good facilities, good rates I paid $54 for two people although this can fluctuate depending on demand. The breakfast is included in the price, lots of choice to eat. Staff are friendly and helpful, hotel has wifi plus internet computers to use for free in a small business type room, bar, restaurant and gift shop also situated within the hotel. 15-20 minute stroll to Konak centre and the sea. Downside is that the decor is a bit dated and tired. All in all I would recommend this place if visiting Izmir especially for value.
Just spent 5 nights at this hotel and am glad I chose this one. The staff were all very friendly, polite and helpful. The hotel was very clean and the facilities excellent. The breakfast offered plenty choices and was always fresh. Its a very reasonably priced hotel and I would gladly recommend this hotelto my friends. I would definitely stay here again if I were to visit Izmir.
I am dr. Mohammadreza visiting izmir with my family the worst hotel l have ever seen in my life imagine in 40 degrees air condition not working refrigerator Not working is it hotel or hell ? Ooooooooooòoooooooooooooooooooooo
A very quaint hotel off the main street. Not much to look at from the outside, but it's very classic on the inside. Staff are very attentive and helpful. Room is a decent size, classic country style with beautiful tile design throughout. Bathroom is one of the largest that I've encountered in Turkey. Modern and fully functional. Full amenities are provided.
Smoke, smoke and more smoke. I was placed in a smoking room the first night I arrived in spite of clearly requesting a non-smoking room. I was so tired that I decided to endure it. I was placed in a room with 2 single beds. The first bed I laid in, it collapsed. I simply got up and went to the other bed, which was hard as brick, but did not collapse. All the while I held something over my nose to filter the smoke. I tried opening the windows to release the smoke and it just was not effective. It was also cold outside and EXTREMELY loud and noisy. I didn't understand why, because there were few vehicles on the road. My sleepless night was so uncomfortable that I had to request a different room. The new room was smoke free and quiet but had a horrible view of a rubble lot, parking alley and unfinished parking building. I felt more like I was in an apartment than a hotel. The shower got hot, but the shower hardware seemed very flimsy. The bathroom was cute, but had light over the bathroom mirror. I had to use a lamp from the bedroom in the bathroom for adequate lighting. The hotel offered complimentary bottle of water daily along with tea, coffee and kettle in the room. The hallways were always freakishly dark and and smokey as well. I don't know that I'd stay in the hotel again, but the interior design of the hotel was very interesting. I loved it. It just had so many quirks, it was difficult to remember it as an overall wonderful experience. I liked the Old World Charm of this place. It gets an A in that department. The meals (Dinner and Breakfast) are also pretty good. The wifi is hit-or-miss and the business office is for show only.
Even though our room was mainly green it was clean and comfortable and the bathroom larger than most hotels. The room was showing signs of age with a cracked and loose tile in the bed head. Dining area and foyer very pleasant.
It wwas the great hotel, rooms aree so clean andd hotel is very close to thee Alsancak. Stuff is sympathic and hotel is extremely great price ffor it, breakfast is very wide andd hhas great options so i recommend U to stay at this hotel very comfrtably
The standard of cleanliness was high and the rooms were comfortable. The staff were helpful and polite and made our stay enjoyable. The food was good but there was no real understanding of special diets. I managed a gluten free diet by exclusion rather than by being offered alternatives.
An enjoyable two night stay was spent at this hotel in April 2015 as part of a ten day tour. Although the hotel is situated beside a busy roadway, the room was not too noisy thanks to double-glazing. The room was spacious and comfortable. The food and service were good.
We stayed at the hotel for a night i.e 7th April. Though the room was decent the behaviour of the people at the breakfast for quite rude. We have been to turkey twice before and have always encountered people with utmost polite behaviour. In this hotel though it was quite different. At the breakfast table first of all there are hardly any people to attend to you. Secondly when you ask someone to help they behave as if they are doing a big favour to us and tkae a very long time. We were three of us and the table was set for two. The two hotel people were seeing us but did not take an effort to set it for three. After waiting a while I requested one of them to help and he took about 20 min to jest get basic cutlery. Secondly then we asked him for an omelette. He first said wait for a min and then did not bother to come though he was standing at near the coffee table. When asked again he came and took the order. After that I had to remind him at least three times before the order was served a full 20 min and three reminders later. In all this there was not an iota of regret that he expressed. It was really sad that this occurred as in other places we have been met with impeccable behaviour. Hope the hotel management takes care of this
