The stay at the hotel was pleasant. The visit was related to a business event held at the congress center of the hotel. The reception staff were helpful, the room was clean, the food was great. On this occasion, my colleague and I would praise the hotel staff, Mrs. Tatjana Ljevaja. She has made our stay in Poreč more enjoyable. Namely, she drove us to the city by her car, because we could not get a free taxi at that time. Such service deserves a public praise!
We stayed in hotel Diamant for two days. Possitive surprise about nice and clean room, tasty food, gently staff. They offer gym, indoor pool, indoor sport hall, close to city centre. Great place for sport teams. You can select different kind of pillows.
Rooms in the hotel are very comfortable specially a bed and also very clean. If you in doubt to take HB supplement you have to tried buffet breakfast and dinner excellent food, showcooking in front of the guests. The hotel has good swimming pool. Wellnes at the hotel is also very good, several different types of saunas are included, a whirlpool and a relaxation room. Hotel is good for sport team, as you have tennis courts, football, basketball, sport hall for volleyball and handball etc.
Rooms at the hotel are comfortable, clean, nicely decorated. The bed was extremely comfortable (we had a large double bed which was great for all activities). The food in the hotel is of excellent quality, prepared in front of guests (which is very effective). The hotel has a swimming pool with lukewarm water, a damage that water is not hotter and there is no larger swimming pool. Wellnes at the hotel is also very good, several different types of saunas are included, a whirlpool and a relaxation room. The city of Poreč and its surroundings abound in places worth visiting, we made a trip to Motovun and Učka (to the top of Vojak). Beautiful nature, panoramic views, clean air.
We went with the company to have a workshop and the end of the year party. It is a really nice hotel. Have lovely rooms. Very clean. Friendly staff. It is a 20 minutes walk from the center. The food is very tasty as well. So I eould definetely recommend it to my friends and colleagues.
The rooms were clean and comfortable with maid service daily. The restaurant had a wide and varied choice each morning and evening. The bar area was very pleasant with plenty of comfortable seating around the bar and reception areas with live music. The staff were very helpful and friendly. You can play tennis on many courts next to hotel (we didn't bring our equipment but next time we will).
I cannot say how that could be in summer, how the beach is and services are. But for the weekend in the half of November, it was very pleasant. We were lucky with the weather, so it was possible to sit in Poreč in the bar outside on the sun and relax at the sea. I was quite surprised how full the hotel was. But everything was going smoothly - check-in, service in the restaurant, check-out. Food was great - wide choice of everything, I especially appreciate Croatian traditional meal. I used the gym which was amazing. Lot of treadmils, stationary bikes, elliptical. There´s even TRX available. Really perfectly equipped gym, even mirror hall for aerobics. Room was very nice, clean and specious. Bathroom little bit used, but still quite OK.
Pros: - good variety of food - location Cons: - They charge you for parking, although you are not in the center but on a large piece of their land - at the pool there is no compulsary wather foot cleaning and there is only 5 m from the toilet to the swiming pool :( - You can not completly darken the room,so if you have children like me be prepared to wake up at 7 😔 - a the pool: no soap, no towels - Wifi non stable - At night at the open window there is noise because of the generator
The Hotel Valamar Diamant lived up to our expectations,to say it was the last week of the season in Porec, The rooms were clean and comfortable with maid service daily, luckily we had a sea view from the second floor just beyond the pine trees obviously if you were on higher floors an even better view would be had. The restaurant had a wide and varied choice each evening, neither myself or my wife were disappointed with any one of the meals we ate and thoroughly enjoyed them ,the breakfast was also very good again with a varied choice to satisfy everyone with coffee being brought to your table when your cup was empty if you required more. The bar area was very pleasant with plenty of comfortable seating around the bar and reception areas. With it being the last week of the season the outdoor pool was closed although still functioning but the indoor pool was open. The staff were very helpful and friendly there was a slight language barrier there but that could happen in any country. I would definitely visit the Valamar Diamant again and would like to thank all members of staff for making our stay so pleasant
The hotel would be absolutely amazing in season. Everything was closed down when we went. No outdoor pools, no sun loungers or chairs outside to relax on. Noddy train finished as well as water taxi in/out of town. No boat trips anywhere or excursions. No bikes to hire on site or peddle boats, crazy golf, table tennis. All closed for season. Tennis is available at £10hr, a small indoor pool that is very cold is free and the spa £10 for 3hrs, includes steam room, sauna and jaccuzi but it's mixed and naked only!! We hired bikes in town and cycled the coast line it was absolutely beautiful and so peaceful not one other hotel was open on the coast line, all closed we cycled miles! A beautiful country. The food was good, breakfast included drinks, dinner however, you paid for all drinks, but could ask for tap water, but they didn't come back to ask you if you wanted more. Without the bikes we would have been really bored especially as nowhere to sit or relax on hotel grounds or sea front. Besides hireing bikes in town there is an amazing quiet room at the side of the bar with comfortable furniture, books, ipads with net flix, amazon films and games on. They have wireless earphones which people didn't always use and there is also kindles. We used this room on an evening to relax in front of a gas flame fire and read. We took a kettle with us which was very useful. The rooms were clean tidy and bright. Very basic more like a travelodge room it was carpeted and so no noise from corridor or rooms above. Again in season it really would be an amazing place to be and would deserve 5 stars it's just a shame we weren't told it was out of season so wouldn't be able to enjoy the whole experience, but we loved the cycling, getting around and relaxing on an evening. We only went in to town once at night as it was so quiet mostly closed and busier through the day! I did get bitten twice by mosquitoes on the evening I didn't use sprays. Beautiful country and we'll worth a visit in season.
