Well. The best thing about the hotel was its location. Perfect happening place nearby. Taksim is always full of lights. The bed was not comfortable and it was small. I am not that tall. My height is 6ft but I was unable to fit my feet and had to adjust by buying cushions as the hotel didnt provide me with anything. The breakfast was pretty average. Had stayed in Istanbul before in a 4 star hotel and it was a much better experience. A big thanks to Mr Engine and Mr Taksin at the reception. They were a great host and provided us with fantastic customer service.
This hotel is located in a resident area of the city. He is a very close to Taksim Square. Hotel have is a modern construction and exquisite design. Everything is clean. When arrived I met sympathetic and friendly staff. I stayed here only for one night, so the kitchen was not tested. The important for me is that in the room there was an iron. Also in hotel there is a gym, which will help even on business trips not to lose tonus.
My wife and I skied in Telluride for a couple of days over the past two weeks. While at the Peaks, we enjoyed the hotel's facilities and staff very much. It was such a great experience we have to mention a few of the folks by name. Chaba, the guy who sees to be in charge of the car valets, was a pleasure to deal with...he was very friendly and attentive. He even called us by name. He's really a nice guy and he, and his staff, represent the hotel very well, indeed. Franco, the young man who appeared to be in charge of the ski valet area, was extremely attentive and engaging (and very funny too - he has a hard job but he keeps a good sense of humor). Franco arranged to have our skis ready to step into each morning. We were amazed, considering the number of guests he dealt with, that he never confused our skis with skis belonging to someone else...how does he do that? The entire staff in the ski-out area deserves a pat on the back for a job well done. I should also mention the guy in charge of guest services...he goes by "Coach". If you are ever at the Peaks, don't leave there without meeting Coach...what a personality! We must have seen Coach in the lobby or the ski valet area a half a dozen times. Each time we engaged with him, he made us feel like we were the most important guest in the hotel (I'm sure he does that for everyone). We told him that we were interested in restaurants in the town of Telluride and gave us a number of good recommendations. He also told us about hiking and biking trails and good places to fly fish in the spring. Its obvious that he has a thorough knowledge of the area and he appears to take great pleasure in talking about Telluride and the Peaks. Glad we got to know him! Of course the spa is amazing and is worth a trip to Mountain Village even if you don't ski. The Lobby of the Hotel is world class and provides a view of the mountains that you cant believe... Overall, a five star experience.
The hotel is situated at the edge of the lively istiklal street. The stay was good value and had a very good breakfast selection with quite a few hot dishes to choose from. The rooms were similar feel to that of a smart hotel. Cleanliness in the rooms needed to improve
The location leaves a lot to be desired, no time of the day (or night) is there not some level of noise on the streets which thanks to the very thin walls you can hear everything(!), the area attracts the sort of people that you would cross the street to avoid. As you enter the hotel, you are greeted by the gentleman at the reception whose attitude could also do with an improvement. In the room the carpet on the floor looks like there hasn't even been an attempt to clean it in a good few months with a load of stains I don't even want to imagine what they could be. The floors, surfaces and lighting fixtures are ALL coated in dust, for someone that suffers of asthma it was a nightmare to even attempt to sleep in there without having to open a window and in turn almost freeze to death. Out of the total 5 nights we stayed there housekeeping only came in once for room service and considering they didn't bother to even vacuum the room, empty our toilet bin or provide us with fresh sheets and toilet paper, I would say that didn't even count for half a clean. The view from the room is another let down. We looked out everyday to a bleak view of concrete slabs which were currently under construction that had workers making extremely loud drilling noises starting at 7am (sometimes earlier!) until the end of the day. Although it is very close to Taksim Square and a seriously competitive price I would never recommend anyone to stay here, this is most definitely NOT a 4* hotel, more like a 2* motel. Seriously, avoid at all costs! Whenever you leave the hotel a stream of beggars will approach you, follow you and grab you in attempt for you to give them something while the hotel concierge don't even bother to chase them away. Not to mention when going to finally check out, they tried to charge us for room service when there wasn't even any made available to us!
Very good location nothing else The room was dirty and unclean! carpets are not clean at all The toilet was dirty even at the lobby The staffs do not speak English Breakfast was so poor I do not recommend this hotel...
It’s a less-than-5 minute walk away to the boulevard of İstiklal which leads up to the Taksim square. The room is small but ideal for a city break, clean, warm and has anything you would need.Note:Ladies I wouldn’t rely on the hair dryer that’s provided as it’s very low on power so I was lucky I always take my very own😉 Breakfast could be better quality but on the whole Turkish cuisine is not particularly for my taste buds!
It is located near Taksim and Istiklal! I visited twice having a wonderful time! It is near the metro station, shopping area and restaurants! The hotel is clean and cheap! They speak good English! They are very helpful! The breakfast is continental and more than exceptional! Not forget to mention that there is a real good night life near Peak ! Good choice!!!
They should renew their air conditioning system it is not effeciently working and besides too noisy. Also the reception is highly careless they barely look your face. Should elevate their human relations immediately. Other than these, it was okay ,can be preffered.
Very nice hotel, comfortable beds, modern rooms, very kind and helpful stuff. Clean, big rooms, good sound isolation. Next to Marmara Pera hotel. Easy to find, few steps away from Taksim main street. Good choice for money value.
