A lovely and cozy hotel. Nearby to Shishane metro station and about 5 minutes walk to Istiklal street. It is surrounded by many famous hotels. It has many nice and small supermarkets around it. Friendly staff members and they are always ready to give help anytime. They were so nice with my 2 years old granddaughter. It is very clean as well. Breakfast is really good.I loved my stay there.
- The hotel is well located within the area of Taksim Square (16 minutes walk) and 1 minute from Istiklal Avenue (big shopping street) - Tram connections are easy from this location to go to the old part of Istanbul (Sultan Ahmet - Aya Sofia and Top Kapi) - Metro station Şişhane within 2 minutes walk where you can take it directly to the Cevaher shopping mall. - Decent rooms - Clean - Ordinary breakfast - Free Internet
It's been two years since me and my girlfriend stayed in Peak. Amazing hotel. Warm room, soft bed and an amazing breakfast. We stayed there for 3 days and every day we were waking up early just for the breakfast. We were eating EVERYTHING!!!! Now every time we visit a hotel, we always say "it was ok but not like Peak!!!"
Overall the hotel and room appeared very well maintain, our room was very clean, strong wifi, nice hotel gym, and very well located by Istiklal street. Would certainly consider staying here again during future visits to Istanbul.
THE WORST HOUSEKEEPING EVER!! the receptionists weren't helpful so much, small rooms hasn't view. The good things are the location, breakfast, FREE sauna, gym (8am-8pm). There is a bar next to hotel and supermarkets. In front of the hotel there is taxi station.
Breakfast was the same food served over and over and over again.. runny eggs served on a nice bed of warm water.. they turned off the air conditioner because "it is cold outside - open window all ok" :) cans of redbull under the bed.. dirty sheets.. elevator broke down 4 times while i was inside. The gym employees don't know what towels are.. had to wipe my face like a crazy person in hopes they would understand.. sheeet man.. paper thin walls your basically living with everyone else.. super sweaty housekeeping people made the room smell like a bath and body shop once they were done with it.. the reception guy almost killed me through the phone.. definitely coming back.. every single club in istanbul is right outside my room.. but yeah open the window all ok :) idiots..
The only good thing about this hotel is its location. Otherwise everything else was a disappointment. Poor breakfast which was often empty. Room was not clean. Shower water was poor. Not very friendly staff. They entered the room without knocking. lots of smoking inside the hotel. Although i have to say that they have decent gym.
The location is the best thing in this hotel, it is next to Istiklal street. The rooms are average, some are fine and some are not. We booked 5 rooms and I was able to see different room types. The best one was the (comfort twin) because it is larger than the (comfort double) and the bathroom is larger with a tub. The gym is nice, larger than a lot of hotels that I have been before. We had a problem with hot water in one of the rooms and we notified them from day one and today is our last day and still not fixed. The worst part is that there are constructions of a new building next to the hotel which can take several months or more until it is finished. So my advice is to tell them to get you a room that is facing the other side because you will forget sleeping, they start the build from 8 am until 6 pm and sometimes more. There is no view at all. The room service is not good, specially the bathrooms, you will still see some dirts left because sometimes they don't even touch the toilet. To be honest I was not comfortable with my staying. I hope if they can improve their service and quality of rooms to give people a comfortable stay and earn the rank of 8.1 I am sorry that I got a bad impression about the hotel, but people deserve to know to avoid mistakes. The photos attached are the Twin comfort room.
The location is very good, near to the metro station, Istiklal street but the breakfast wasn't as good as the others had said. The room was small (No 3114), the bed & bathroom was clean but we found a balloon and some piece of papers under the chair. The staff (room service) couldn't understand English. In the book in the room was written that the room service is 24/7 and we can order food but they didn't answer at midnight.
The trip was organised to celebrate a birthday party with 5 friends from arriving from different parts of the world, so everything had to be organised correctly! The manager of the hotel helped greatly through emails and all transfers to and from airports were organised perfectly! We had 2 rooms on the 7th floor , clean, beautiful and designed to the top! For most of us it was the first time in beautiful Istanbul and we can say that 4 days is not enough to see even a quarter of the city! But from all the recommendations from the hotel we had an absolutely amazing time! So for ideas or any help contact the front desk:) Great location, great breakfast, amazing hotel rooms and best Location! Definitely will come back to the same hotel! Thankyou
