I booked this hotel for my daughter. Most disgusting hotel I have seen. Faulty electrics, mould in the fridge, horrible smells and looks nothing like on the photos. WOULD NOT BOOK HERE

The photos on your site are not representing the actual status of the rooms and the hotel. the rooms and the common areas are not clean. the room was having a very bad smell of cigarettes, sewerage and humidity. They did not refund the money that I paid.

The hotel was in a very bad condition , broken electric sockets sticking out of the wall , very dirty rooms and beds lining yellow stain on pillows and a very revolting smell in the hotel ,very poor customer service , please stay away from this hotel i had to leave on the first night after booking 7 nights , no apologies no refund i took pictures of the room and showed it to them and asked for my money back i was told no refund because i paid with a card .please this hotel is a hotel from hell . as one of you customer this hotel should be removed from your website the photos are very misleading.

10 years ago, I stayed at this location and I loved it, but the owner or new one, let the property into disrepair. Very poor property and I do not believe the property is fit for living. The black toxic mold is filling the room. The toilet is overlapped by the sink !!!! the room is so cold and moist..

Miserable stay

I was in this hotel for 13 days with my family and it was miserable . The bed sheets never been changed . We were four in the room and the cleaner gave us three body towels and two hand towels and sometimes without hand towels and when i ask the cleaner about that she told me " finish". The bathroom was full of fungi and the drainage didn't work normally. The breakfast was ready plate and repeated. The only two good things to tell about were the place of the hotel is near the the area of Sultan Ahmed and the staff was polite.

STAY AWAY - REALITY IS NOT LIKE POHOTS

This was awful. When we checked in around 10:00pm, we were shocked by the condition of the room. The smell of the mildew was suffocating, the room was extremely old and received no attention in ages. The actual room had no resemblance to photos shown here. We asked for a different room and the guy said there were none. We were forced to go and look for a different hotel and move in the middle of the night. We lost the money for a 5-night stay because it was nonrefundable (surprise surprise).

Stone Hotel stay

We really enjoyed our stay at the Stone Hotel. Breakfast on the terrace with a view of the Kucuk Aya Sofia and the sea was beautiful. We also liked the garden and courtyard which was peaceful to sit in during the early evening. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I was able to extend my stay by one night and for us to stay in the same hotel room as I had accidentally booked with one night too short because I got the day of the return flight to UK wrong. Hotel very flexible and amenable which was excellent. Good central location which made it easy to walk to Sultanahmet to see the fountain in the day and illuminated at night and to visit Blue Mosque (Mavi Cami). I would definitely stay here again and recommend this for holiday makers to stay there.

Well placed to visit most of the sights that you would wish to see on foot. Grand bazaar, 15-20 minute casual walk. Plenty of good restaurants around the area and the pricing was mostly very reasonable for excellent food.

I can't say enough about the location; this hotel is near every main attraction - walking distance away. The rooms are just like what's shown in the pictures - nothing more, nothing less. The only downside I experienced with this hotel is that the walls are so thin you could hear every little sound; you could hear people talking from outside, elevator doors and room doors slamming, and even guess talking in their rooms. If you could block out the noise and are not looking for too much of a fancy hotel, this is a great place to stay.
