Stayed here for two nights and was a very pleasant experience - I think you will be hard-pressed to find another hotel with such value for the price. Room was very clean with all necessary appliances, plus a few extras I wasn’t expecting - full TV setup, refrigerator, kettle, coffee/tea, hairdryer, night lamp. Location is prime, just a few mins walking distance from local restaurants, public transit, waterfront. And best of all was Osman, a very gracious host - incredibly helpful and a nice guy.

The Lucky Hotel is situated within walking distance of so many attractions as well as very convenient for ferries, trams & buses. My room was very comfortable, lovely to have a small fridge. Great shower with space. There is no lift, however I managed the stairs very well as a senior citizen. There are lots of food shops nearby as well as a small grocery shop. An excellent point to note is that the Lucky Hotel offers Expedia-booked guests one free load of laundry during their stay, in the adjoining laundromat. It’s wonderful to have clean laundry in your suitcase when you go home! The proprietor of the Lucky Hotel is helpful, attentive and offers good advice and suggestions to make your stay in Istanbul very enjoyable.

Lucky Hotel Indeed

I had an 18 hour layover in Istanbul and needed a place to crash for a few hours or so. I decided to choose this place due to location and cost. It was perfect. I arrived roughly 1:30am and was greeted at the lobby. It worked out very well.
