Well Some good things and some downsides Pros: **Rooms: Rooms are comfortable and clean. Hot tap water and clean bathroom. Housekeeping is done in the best way and every time you return to the hotel you will see a tidy room. **Staff: They were all cool and friendly and very helpful during my stay. Cons: **Lobby: Are you kidding me? it's just a table near the front door...That's not what I call a lobby! **Breakfast: On the first day when I entered the hotel I was so happy with what I saw on the buffet (boiled eggs, sausages, different types of cornflakes, fruit yogurt, two types of cheese, butter, jam, honey, different types of juice, tea and coffee)..But can you imagine that this was the same thing I saw for the next 6 mornings? Boring, repetitive. Adding variety wouldn't harm!! **No restaurants, no food after breakfast and they don't even have a chocolate cake to serve with coffee in the afternoon. Nothing!! Well, how dare you call yourself a 4-star hotel then? Kids running and screaming in the stairs (Thanks to their parents of course!!!!)
Good value for money Location is excellent if you need to use the bus from and to the airports 6 minutes walk Really nice Brakefast Very friendly staff and helpfull English language is not a problem there
It was a very good experience Everything is clean and arranged They are so Hospitable, offer great food and took care of their customers !! The staff are friendly and funny I like it a lot and for sure we will come back
The best or one of the bests hotels in town ... Friendly staff ,Issa and Vasel were the best between them . Clean rooms and delicious food with many choices and types offered with care and love. I like this placee 👌🏽👍🏼
The hotel is very good but with Veysel and Issa is super gooooood!! 💪🏻 very welcoming guys and turns any hotel to a 5+ stars yet they are very proffesional... Faros is very near to taksim square and it’s highly recommended for short vacation escapes. I will sure make it @faros again on my next 10th visit to istanbul 🙋🏻♂️
when I reserved a room in this hotel from a agency they told us hotel is 4 stars. At first night we got hotel in midnight .We reserved a room for 4 adults. They gave us a suit room. the room was under the roof .sofa was so stained .a small sofa must have been used as a bed. another bed was similar beds which is being used in beach .Door of bathroom had problem so that if were alone you might be inside until somebody save you. you never get a sense for lobby. Restaurant for breakfast was so small. The quality of breakfast was awful.Next day I had complain to manager .He changed our room to another room in the next hotel and gave a room that capacity was for 3 adults .So we had to accept it and did not have another chance .Actually the new room in the taksim hotel was clean.
everything made tiny and industrial minimal design with an ac that is barely cold, mattresses hard if u have back problems and bed too small for two. breakfast is humble and grounded better eat at some caffe. ideal for teenagers on a budget.
Had an amazing stay here in this property with my family :) Eventhough it is not a 5star hotel., the warm & friendly hospitality surpasses all that theyre lacking. Keep up the great job guys!!! Thanks alot to veysel for being soOoosmiley and friendly :) Thank you soOoomuch for making our stay comfy and lovesss the welcome tea :) Hope to embrace your hospitality soonest in shaa Allah :) Lovesss from singapore :D
it is over rated because of very good price! We would like to appreciate the staff specially Mr. Yilmaz Veysel for his kindness and hospitality. comparing the price with other properties it is really great. (value for money) the location is also great in walking distance to nearby metro station (Taksim) The breakfast needs to have more variations (especially for warm foods) The streets around a bit noisy
all things in this room very good clean ,big not small .breakfast good but near taxim metro but small reception boutique hotel. same emerlad hotel typical in all things. tea meaker in room and coffee.
