Bed was very comfortable and shower was great. It’s very centrally located in Sultanahmet and staff were helpful. Felt safe there as solo female traveller.

Wonderful experience with great service. Property is strategically located within walking distance from all important sites in old Istanbul. Staff is very helpful to get good deals on dining locations, guides, and shopping and they provide good catered advice for the type of tours based on your needs. There is always room for negotiation with tour providers. Always use the taxi service through the hotel, it is a better deal for airport transfers.

A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Istanbul – Outstanding Stay at Emerald Hotel.I was impressed by the warmth of the staff, the comfort of the accommodations, and the unbeatable location. We had to go to Cappadocia, but we did not want to take our extra luggage there, they graciously kept our bags for few days that made our trip to Cappa very easy in terms of hauling luggage. Again staff, location was superb. This hotel is a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and warm Turkish hospitality.

The property itself is in the tourist area. You are 5 min walking to blue mosque and Hagia Sophia. Maybe 15 min walking to grand bazaar. Property is clean and new. Restaurants are all around and the area is very safe.
