Elite World Istanbul Hotel

The hotel is 4 - 5 min walk to Taksim Maydan, metro station, tourist bus. Buses to Ataturk airport are right on the corner street of the hotel. Safe neighborhood. Istiklal street is 7 min away (walking distance).. I liked the room furniture and colors, very comfy bed, however the room was a bit small (single room).. The breakfast hall is small and it was tooooo crowded, and the floor was not clean (because of the hotel residents. The hotel staff should react faster to clean it).. breakfast selection was fine but i would categorize it as 4 star buffet not more. Items of breakfast are the same all week, 2 types of fruit were available, and no sweet section. Many items can be added so breakfast was disapointing

not clean rooms, room serves is bad front counter you can't communicate with

Rude people and staff rooms smells staff try to cheet you

Neat room an toilette for showering I like it so much the staff are helpful and friendly

Nice hotel.staff may need some training on handeling checkin line

Very nice hotel. Everything was nice. Staff is not bad, they may need a little more trainning on handling checkin lines.

Clean room, great service, speak English. I recommend it, will return

This was supposed to be a five-star hotel, but I believe four-star is even more than enough. The room was smelly, small with old furniture and stained carpet. The staff was very impersonal. The food was average and very expensive. The only plus was the location. Hint: Do not use the hotel's taxis, they charge double the price at least.

The location was perfect only a few blocks from Taksim Square and in the middle of some great restaurants and bakeries. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. There is also a Jazz night every Friday and Saturday in the restaurant/lounge area. I will go back...

Service could have been a bit more friendly but it was acceptable. The room was nice, pool was good and the hotel is in a good location. A good price as well. I would stay there on my next trip to Istanbul.

The hotel was nicely appointed at a very fair price in an area in the new district of Istanbul near Taksim Square that had lots of hotels and cafe/restaurants, and was closed off to most vehicular traffic. The rooms were pleasant enough but a little dark given how modern the lobby was. My 87-year-old mother was given a handicapped room whose bathroom was well-equipped for her needs. The staff was friendly and helpful. On the downside, given the number of floors in the hotel, the elevators did not seem to be able to keep up and we often chose to use the stairwell instead even though we were five floors up. Perhaps more importantly, if your goal is to see the sights in the old district (which is what we were focused on), the hotel is a bit out of the way. I suppose that there are trade-offs between price and convenience.

positive: - nice people, nice sphere, nice food negative: - small rooms, aircondition is not working, Jacuzi is really small.

Very nice bathroom with jacusi and a separate shower, although the bedroom is kind of small. The indoor pool is perfect for kids and adults to enjoy, and the staff is quite nice. The breakfast buffet is another plus for this hotel. The location is at the center of Taksim, walking distance to bus stops and shops. A great hotel for a family vacation in Istanbul.

I did not like: - Air conditioning is very weak - Water was leaking from bathroom to the room through separating glass - Noises from the street clearly audible - First we got non-city view room even though we booked such, had to wait .5 hour for room change - Breakfast bad: bad bread, bad meats, bad coffee - wifi in the room was very weak and unstable I liked: - nice decor of lobby and rooms - free pool, saunas, gym
