This was our third time staying at the Dekalb. We enjoy our time on the European side, but we love our time at the Dekalb and the Asian side. The vibe and energy around Kadikoy is authentic and with more local people out and about with far fewer tourists, yet you have ferry and Metro access right outside the hotel. The hotel is exceedingly clean and well maintained, the Dekalb team/staff is very supportive and customer responsive to any questions or needs, and restaurant while not crowded is very good, especially for breakfast. The hotel is an oasis within the busy life and activities of Istanbul and Kadikoy. We will be back again for sure.

We stayed at the Dekalb Hotel in Kadıköy during the final part of our Turkey trip and had a very enjoyable experience. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and a great place to relax after long days exploring Istanbul. What stood out most was how helpful and welcoming the staff were throughout our stay — they were always friendly and willing to assist with anything we needed. The location in Kadıköy was also excellent, with plenty of restaurants, cafés, shops, and ferry access nearby, making it a great base for exploring both the Asian and European sides of Istanbul. I would definitely recommend Dekalb Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable stay in Kadıköy with excellent hospitality.

We were very impressed with the hotel standard, decor and especially the helpful and friendly staff including Kerem, Mustafa and Nathan. We would definitely come back and stay here next time we come to Istanbul. Kadikoy is a great place for shopping, restaurants and bars without the tourist price hike. Clean, great view, helpful friendly staff. Only two things came up: 1- no sheet provided. Blanket was a bit rough and would have preferred a sheet on the bed. There was a base / fitted sheet but no cover sheet. 2- Air conditioner turned off a couple of times, but we got it resolved. All is well.
