A wee bit of a Fawlty Towers experience when we went to their restaurant for dinner the first night. The hotel in general was good. Comfortable beds and best of all Haggis for breakfast!

i have read reviews on this property and my experience was the room i had was spacious and clean. The staff was helpful and the breakfast had just enough that i was happy. I would recommend the hotel to travelers and it was the most economical of all the ones i checked out in the area.

This hotel is good for a night or two. It’s the little details that count. The lamp shade had fringes falling down, my remote didn’t have a back cover over the batteries but instead had tape over it and the tape was peeling off. The bedroom is very dated as it’s an old building and the mattress was not comfortable. The bathroom felt clean and new and I was actually excited to take a bath after two days of hiking, but the hot water wouldn’t last enough to fill up the tub. So overall was an ok stay. Good location though.

Excellent situated hotel with stunning views. Yes it does need some refurbishing , but makes up by having super friendly and efficient staff. Top breakfast with lots of choices. I would book here again in a heartbeat. Recommend.

Clean room staff were lovely, breakfast was nice. Didn’t eat at the hotel restaurant, we ate at a near by restaurant. Menu looked nice though. All I would say is you could hear people walking and moving around from the room, slept really well. Lovely place definitely go again.

This hotel is like staying at a relatives house that has lived in the same house for 50 years. It's outdated but clean. Bathrooms were updated. Mattresses and pillows were fairly low end. Staff was friendly and accommodating overall. Parking is a bit of an adventure. Not many options for dining in the immediate area. The food from the hotel, both dinner and breakfast were good with nice variety. View is spectacular if you get a bay view
