A good stay at WEIL Hotel! The modern rooms are stylish and comfortable, with great city views. Staff were friendly and attentive, and the location is ideal, within walking distance to great food and attractions. Directly linked to the shopping mall. Highly recommend for both leisure and business travelers!

One of the rooms was smelly with smoking ordour. Asked for a replacement which they agreed to, then we decided to roam around the city. Upon our return, they offered a cheaper room. Which we questioned, was so unhappy with the response given. After a series of arguments, i asked for a refund. Then suddenly, there was a last min cancelation for another room which is comparable to what we pay. Horrible experience!

Our holiday in Ipoh

We stayed as a family for 5 nights occupying 3 rooms and the quality of the room in terms of comfort, facilities and cleanliness was very good. All staff from those who cleaned the rooms, to the reception, the doorman and staff at the restaurant went out of the way to assist (helping to resolve a parking problem, storing our luggage, finding a suitable table for our party of 5, delaying the cleaning of our rooms at our request). Check in and check out took a matter of a few minutes. The location allowed us to move around Ipoh easily without having to use a car or cab. The swimming pool was clean and welcoming.

Overall, the location is excellent. However, there are a few areas for improvement in the room. The pillow could be more comfortable, and there was some visible dirt in the jacuzzi. Additionally, the breakfast service could be more efficient, as guests have to wait in a 10-15 minute queue before being seated due to the crowd. It may be helpful to consider offering a separate dining area for 12th-floor guests during peak weekends or seasons. Despite these minor issues, it was still a pleasant stay, and I would recommend it.

It’s not where Wotif advertised it to be. I was looking for a hotel near the old town, it was advertised as being 4 minutes from Concubine St, where as it is a not particularly pleasant 25 minute walk from there.

Hotel needs refurbishment badly

The hotel rooms should have been better designed, with better lighting and comfort. The bathroom was cramped and dark. My daughter's room had a smashed and broken safe that didn't work. Her room's wifi also didn't work and had to call down to front desk to be fixed. The makeshift gym had bad equipments with missing bolts. The swimming pool was fine. The breakfast selections were good and service efficient.

Overall the check in experience was good but the breakfast wasn’t 5 star quality. They have varieties of choices such as egg station, roti canai station & I really love they have fresh juices & homemade soya milk. The room tv sound system was superb low that you almost couldn’t hear it but the room set up & interior was great The hotel is link to Ipoh parade mall which is quite convenient

The room was pristine, and I was fortunate enough to receive an upgrade to a top-floor suite with lounge access. The food served in the lounge was great, adding to my overall experience. Additionally, the hotel’s direct connection to the shopping mall was incredibly convenient. Breakfast offered a diverse range of tasty dishes, providing a delightful start to each day.
