The location was great. The room and bathroom were very clean but the bed was very uncomfortable and way too soft. I made the mistake of booking a studio room which was very small and stuffy and although we were only on the second floor the windows could not be opened.

Good hotel for a quick stop

The apartment we stayed in was great. It was much more spacious than I expected and had everything we needed. We loved having the washer/dryer in unit to catch up on laundry during our trip around the south island. My wife was bothered by the incense or scented oil smell they used here. It was on the excessive side. The parking was also not ideal. They do have 'on-site' parking near the hotel entrance but it's a very small lot. We were given a pass but left to go explore some areas and came back to a full parking lot. We had to park our car on the street overnight and I had to get up and move the car into the parking lot in the morning to avoid paying for a couple of hours of parking on the street after 8 AM. They really could use a bigger lot or better parking options.
