This is a wonderful and traditional hotel. The location, above the town of Seefeld, is very good. Everything reminds you of a mountain chalet and is very charming. The room I had overlooked the parking lot, unfortunately, but it was a sweetly decorated room, with many touches of the local area. The breakfast was great, as was dinner at the restaurant. Staff is obviously very well trained and we were warmly greeted wherever we went. If you want to hike in summer, you are right at the local trails. I enjoyed my stay.
We enjoyed ourselves all the week. We didn’t find one thing wrong. The food was excellent and so was the spa facilities. We had a few days of rain so we walked to center of town and round the lake and back.
We spent our last Christmas holidays in Astoria: amazing Christmas atmosphere, great food, service, super friendly staff. You can book a lovely privat SPA area, with an incredible view of the mountains. High quality of SPA treatments. The hotel is super pet friendly and offers a variety of pet services and amenities.
We have just spent 3 nights at this hotel and everything was just perfect. Truly one of the best hotels we have stayed in and definitely lives up to its five star status. Our room was beautifully clean, comfortable and had a spectacular view. Every part of the hotel is so beautifully kept. So many soft comfortable seats to choose from. The pool area is just what you need to relax after a day of walking or cycling, and the well placed jacuzzi with the view is great for easing those aching muscles. The seven course dinner is an amazing gastronomic delight and the staff are so attentive without being intrusive. I think we were the only British couple there during our visit. Can certainly recommend it. Short flight from London to Innsbruck and an easy 30 minute car journey from the airport. We hope to be back, maybe in winter when there is snow as I can imagine it looks magical, but equally there is lots to keep you occupied in the summer months too.
My wife and I spent one week holliday in hotel Astoria which was very nice inspite of the bad weather. We enjoy the pools, breakfast and cleanliness. The only thing that we dislike was the taste of most dishes which was otherwise beautifuly presented. We would prefere more ortodox Austrian cuisine to choose from. The pianist was great!
Very charming hotel with lovely restaurant. Booked up for summer months so make early reservations. Very nice, young service staff and homey, comfortable elegance. Family friendly spa resort with beautiful surroundings
This place has it all. It is quite literally faultless - beautiful nature, beautiful rooms, the entire complex is done in good taste, spotless clean and so pleasant to be in. The pools are great, especially the one replicating the looks of a lake. Breakfast was generous and with really good variation, including fresh strawberries or blueberries - yum. If I really wanted to find something not perfect, that would be the food we had for lunch and dinner. It was in the spirit of haute cuisine but not really getting there, plenty of room for improvement. The bread though - the bread was dreamy! I would go back there anytime, it is simply perfect for relaxation and pampering in a unique scenery.
The service in this hotel is outstanding. The suite was new and very beautiful. The breakfast, lunch and especially diners were all fantastic. We were travelling with two (little) children and they were treated perfectly as well.
What a beautiful property well situated as a lovely resort, amazing pool areas and pretty well done rooms. The rooms are small but the bathrooms are great size. The spa area looked wonderful. Unfortunately there was no one on staff to provide services and with the exception of Tobythe bartender, there was little staff to find, restaurant was good but my German is bad so hard to order. Overall a very good property and I would go back. It would be nice upon check in to either get a hotel tour from someone or at least instruction about how to best enjoy the property and figure out how to use the lights,
What a dream stay at this resort! The property was just totally renovated and all of the common areas are absolutely stunning. The scenery is magnificent and the rooms just lovely with wonderful views. The breakfast was bountiful and the lunch and afternoon tea were both welcome. If there were any area for improvement, I might suggest fewer courses for dinner with more conventional entree choices and portions. But the dining room is elegant and the service excellent. We will be back!
