I've actually been coming to Eden every Summer for the last few years for work. We've met Cristian who owns the hotel and he is a warm, charming owner. The spa facilities are great and the food is very special. Every Tyrolean dish we tried was delicious - I can't wait to go back.
We stayed for 6 days in Das Hotel Eden in Seefeld. It is one of the best places I have ever stayed. The service, the fantastic food, the wonderful view from the room, the relaxing SPA and calm and cosy Seefeld town - all that made our stay wonderful. We will definitely come back!
Have visited Seefeld on a number of occasions but this was the first time at this Hotel. We had a superior room, which I would recommend as a quick view at the standard rooms gave the impression of being more compact. Location could not be better, just 2 minutes from pedestrianised centre but still very quiet despite being on the main road. Staff were great. I would comment that majority of guests were Austrian/German which is to be expected and is great but menu is very much geared towards them and not the English taste. However, meals were lovely. Breakfasts had everything you could wish for, free afternoon cakes and a splendid 5 course evening meal plus salad bar. Gala dinner (7 courses) and a Tyrolean buffet were also in the 7 day itinerary. Hotel close to station which is undergoing considerable upgrading so give yourselves more time to purchase tickets. Visited all the usual places but discovered Mittenwald which is well worth a visit. Plenty of enjoyable walks. Would highly recommend resort and this Hotel, and would certainly return here in the future.
We have just enjoyed a week at the Hotel Eden, half board. We were surprised to find that we were the only English guests. We were told that 90% of guests are from Switzerland. This hotel is perfectly situated, a couple of minutes walk from the town`s pedestrianised centre. We paid a supplement for a superior room, and were not disappointed, it was well appointed and approximately 40`x14`. Breakfast was a substantial hot and cold buffet, all of which was good quality. The 5 course dinner was varied and tasty throughout the week, and included a 7 course gala dinner, and a splendid Tyrolean buffet another night. All of the staff were friendly and helpful, and their English was much better than our German. If you want a week in this lovely little town we would heartily recommend this hotel, which we booked through the Inghams Lakes and Mountains brochure.
We have been to Seefeld many times. This was the first time in Das Hotel Eden, and we were not disappointed. We were very surprised about the silent proof rooms. Maybe because it was a calm period, but we did not hear any sound from other rooms or corridor when in our room. Travelling with our almost 3 year old daughter we felt very welcome. There was a separate children's buffet at 6.30PM, which was 30minutes before our evening dinner and perfect timing for our daughter's sleeptime and for us to enjoy the fine cuisine. Although we (as parent) did miss some fresh vegetables in the children's buffet, our daughter didn't. Restaurant staff was very friendly and always eager to give a hand. We did however miss some typical Austrian friendliness with Reception staff. Anyway, for us it was again a fantastic week in Seefeld with a first time skiing experience for our little girl.
We chose this hotel for our skiing trip. If you or your kids are beginners, this hotel is perfect for you because it is located just 200 meters from the beginners slopes "Geigenbühel". There is also a skischool located right next to it. The room had very nice furniture and it's inclusion of a living room made it quite spacious. The check in process was a bit too short and the lady didn't provide us with a lot of information. Luckily there was a little handbook at the room which gave us all the information we needed. We chose the half-board option which was pretty convenient, because after an entire day of skiing there was no need to leave the warm hotel for dinner. The food was delicious and they also had vegetarian options for almost every course. You are given the opportunity to choose your dinner options during breakfast already via an order form, but they were flexible enough to change it in the evening if you change your mind. The service was good, although we had the feeling that a young couple doesn't always get the same level of service from the waiters than older ones. That was a bit of a shame due to the fact that we pay the same money and got less service. For the first evening, they provided a bottle of tapped water to every table except ours. The second evening they forgot to include two sauces in the main course which we noticed all other tables received. On another evening, the table with two older couples was asked several times if they wanted a refill on their bread or any of the courses, we weren't. For that evening, It was extremely hard to get the waiters attention at all. In the afternoon, the hotel offers free cakes which were very nice. In the room, you always get complimentary water and a kettle but sadly no tea bags. The breakfast buffet was very generous offering a great variety of food and drinks, basically anything you would expect for breakfast. The bread was very nice, they also offered fresh juices, freshly made omelettes, meat, cheese, fruits, cereals, jam, pastries, etc. However, they didn't offer us the fresh juice one morning and once again they paid more attention to older guests. There is a big parking lot right behind the hotel which is complimentary for hotel guests, although it is mostly open space and carport parking is limited to those who are willing to pay extra for it. For loading or unloading your car, you can stop right in front of the hotel. They also have a separate room right outside the hotel for storing your skiing gear which is accessible with your hotel key card. Sadly the shoe dryer apparently wasn't on all night cause our skiing boots felt still damp in the morning. Overall, we really liked the hotel but we were let down by the feeling that they don't appreciate younger guests the same way they appreciate older couples.
Great location in the center of Seefeld, delicious breakfast. The Spa is very well equipped, including a hot water external swimming pool + whirlpool. Parking is available near by the hotel .the lobby bar is also good

Great location in the center of Seefeld, delicious breakfast, very friendly staff. Spacious and very comfortable room with a nice view. We stayed only two nights last week but wish we could stay longer. Hope to stay there again in the near future!
Where to begin, where to begin ! Let’s start with the positive – this hotel is for all intents and purposes perfect – the location, the rooms, the beds, the bathroom, the WiFi, the spa and pool, the food and last but absolutely not least – the staff. This is by far the most professionally run hotel I’ve had the pleasure of visiting for many years – immaculate in all respects. The staff are professionals – that is obvious and appreciated! As far as I could tell this was also an apprenticeship hotel where real hotel people were educated with all that entails - but this is just positive. There was always a senior waiter or otherwise hovering in the background to clear up any misunderstandings. Nice to see ! I won’t mention any of the staff in particular – they were all great. From the smiling greeting at 7 am at breakfast, the cleaning staff, to the always helpful and smiling reception, all the staff at dinner and the bar staff ready for a quick chat when time permitted. Now to the negative … hmm … nope, I can honestly say the only complaint I had in the 2 weeks we were there was the weather during the first week ! They even fixed that for week two. When in Seefeld next time, Das Hotel Eden moves straight to the top of the list of choice hotels.
