Beautiful home with a great floor plan, but could be better equipped.
Overall we had great family time. The backyard was a hit with everyone. We loved relaxing in the spa and the little ones loved the pool. However, some things need attention that could have made our stay better. First, the kitchen is not well-equipped, and the items that are there all need to be replaced. (Fortunately I brought some of my own knives and cooking trays.) There were not enough towels, so we had to wash towels. There were a few extra towels in the hall closet, but they had stains and appeared to be cleaning rags. So more towels and better towels are needed. There is a camera in the backyard that monitors the pool/spa, so it felt like we were being watched. (Is that even legal for a VRBO?) And constantly having to communicate with the host when we wanted the pool/spa heated and to what temperature was inconvenient and took away from our family time. The additional cost for heating the pool/spa in the listing is per day, so the heat should have been on during our entire stay. And lastly, I feel that 1-ply toilet paper for a house this nice is just cheap, as is watering down the soap and body wash to the point that they don't work. But again, this house has the perfect floor plan for our growing family. We loved being under one roof and on one level.
