The beds were equivalent to laying on the parking lot with pillows! We have always been pleased with Holiday Inn when traveling as the beds are always so comfortable, what a disappointment this was.
Quiet, clean and very good for the price, Far for Indianapolys
Everything was well except the tub drain was clogged. It was immediately fixed when we notified the front desk. Amenities were kind of limited but what was there was excellent.
This hotel was everything I wanted it to be. Conveniently located, with a few restaurants around. New, clean facilities. COMFY beds. Quiet surroundings. Friendly staff. Really nice breakfast.
Great. Staff friendly and helpful. Great location. Easy access.
I have never gave a bad review to a hotel before but this stay made me want to. The Bad: First I had to wait over 5 minutes to get service at the front desk. Then had to wait till 2 hrs after checkin to get a room. When we got a room it didnt have a microwave or fridge. So they moved us to another room and told me only rooms with king beds have microwaves/fridges. The pool is tiny and cooooold! The kids teeth were chattering! We were charged an additional adults price for a 12yr old child. The trash cans in the breakfast area were to small for the foam plates to fit in. The Good: The staff was very friendly and appoligetic! The room was clean. The breakfast was real good for a free breakfast, good variety and good food. The Hotel was located close to shops, fast food and a great flea market. Overall I find this hotel overpriced, understaffed, I know alot of this comes from being close to a college town. But as a Holiday Inn I was not impressed!
Accommodations were good. However, the free breakfast left a lot to be desired. I've had many free Hotel breakfast but this one was by far the worst.
Needed a place to stay near Bloomington, IN. Lots of rooms in Bloominnton booked due to a game. Location was perfect, received an upgrade, loved the friendly staff!
Needed a room quickly for a wedding. Booked last minute and worked perfectly! Loved the complimentary breakfast and room upgrade!
Expensive! We only stayed one night and didn't check in until 8pm and checked out early so we didn't get to try out the pool or exercise room. We did look at the exercise room and we were a little disappointed since it only had three machines. It did have a TV, towels and water but not much equipment. Excellent water pressure in the shower and also the toilet in the room. The hall smelled like smoke near our third floor room and after talking to the front desk manager we were told it was changing over to a non smoking hotel but there were still four smoking rooms in the building. I guess, somewhere on the third floor.
We planned a last minute trip to Bloomington and this was one of the only hotels with availability anywhere nearby. It seemed pretty expensive (especially for not being in Bloomington), but when everything is booked up, I guess you can charge a little more. It was nice and clean and you get the quality you'd expect from a Holiday Inn. They gave us an extra hour for late checkout and we enjoyed a few minutes in the pool. The breakfast was good. The only thing I wish was that they had mini-fridges in each room. We had to put our leftovers on ice, which isn't super fun.
i booked a suite so that I might watch tv from the sofa & not have to sit on the bed as I have back & neck problems. however the tv was at the foot of the bed & the sofa faced the desk. poor planning on holiday inn's part. other than that the room was clean & satisfactory.
Room was clean, fast check in (early) and comfortable stay in a hotel that felt new. A little disappointed in the free breakfast, but it was free.
I was visiting for a basketball tournament, some of the guest were noisy, convenient eating places, very clean, would have liked a microwave & refrigerator in room
