The desk attendant, Willy, greeted us warmly like long-lost friends when we checked in. The room and bath were very clean. The room and most of the bathroom seemed modern, but the tub drain and bath ceiling looked old. The beds seemed to be high quality and comfortable (on the soft side, not firm) and the pillows were awesome! The one downside was the noisy AC unit. It had a rattle and kicked on loudly every few minutes all night long. To mitigate the noise I switched it to continuous fan mode. Our room rate through Expedia didn't include breakfast so I can't comment on that. Overall, this was a good choice, about 15 minute drive to the Conference Center under normal traffic conditions.

The hotel was clean however in our room the shower needed attention & showed wear. We were given an accessible room, didn’t ask/need one. The shower faucet was extremely hard to turn. The water was scalding or cold. When we entered the breakfast dining room the manager came rushing out speaking into a phone get someone here immediately with extreme urgency in her voice. Come to find out someone spilled juice. She yelled at the person sweeping it up to go take care of a table. Our waitress was friendly but perturbed she had another table & she & the manager exchanged words in front of us regarding that. There were not that many occupied tables. We waited 30 minutes for our food that was luke warm. My husband‘a sausage gravy had sat long enough to develop a film on top. We got late check out but the attendant that checked us didn’t put it in the computer. Someone tried walking in on my husband while he was indisposed. The bed was comfy & clean!
