My family and I came in town for a funeral and stayed here one night. Our room had a terrible smell and had stains on the comforters. We did asked to switch rooms and they did switch us. The lady at the front desk could have been a little more friendly. The front desk person who came in the evening was more friendly. Breakfast was decent.
Stayed here in Coffeyville for a graduation. Picked it primarily because it was close to where my son lives. But it was nice, staff was friendly and rooms were clean. They had a fridge, microwave, ironing board and blow dryer. Maid service was fine too. Air conditioning worked awesome. Indoor pool was clean and warm. My only complaint here is the jacuzzi is warm, not hot and chlorine was intense. Provided breakfast was tasty and the selection was good for a hotel type free breakfast. Only complaint here is they had no milk. However for a pay breakfast there is a McDonalds right across the parking lot as well as an Eggberts which was really good. I would stay here again.
Stayed here 3 nights very clean and the staff were very friendly room was spacious and nice work area for computer and anything else you bring along Did not do the breakfast so I can not comment on that left early always had fresh coffee which is a plus as of right now this looks like the best place to stay in town I noticed they are building a new Holiday Inn Express in town which I'm sure will surpass The Sleep Inn with that being said if your looking for value and clean I have no complaints
Enjoyed our stay at this hotel very much. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. The staff was kind, helpful and friendly. The breakfast in the morning was the usual hotel fare but was tasty and fresh. The welcome glass of iced tea when we arrived was refreshing. We were able to use the seating in the lobby to visit with family. We'll be staying here again.
Stayed 1 night to see grandson play baseball. Coffeeville is a small town with limited resources so picked the Sleep Inn because they are a part of the Choice Hotels system.I was not disappointed as it lived up to the Choice standards. I thought the breakfast was a little better though. The eggs had cheese in them there was sausage and chopped ham slices. They had waffles and pancakes which is unusual. The front desk lady was friendly and helpful getting the room I needed. So for a one night stay I was completely satisfied.
We stayed here one night for a family wedding. We had 2-2 Q adjoining rooms. While this isn't a new hotel, it was still nice. The rooms and bathrooms were large and everything was very clean. There was a fridge and microwave. The bed and pillows were very comfy. All the linens were fresh and good quality. The bathrooms were all enclosed and had a tub/shower combo. Just a note: We were told the King rooms only have a shower. We didn't use the wifi so can't comment on that. The indoor pool was a lovely warm temp (loved that!) and the hot tub was nice too. The breakfast was very good with biscuits, gravy, eggs, sausage, waffles, pancakes, cinnamon rolls, cereal, breads, and yogurt. All staff was friendly. At booking we had requested "adjoining" rooms which they didn't have for us when we arrived and the desk clerk worked it out so we could have them even though she had all the keys already made. We really appreciated her doing that for us! The location was walking distance from Lanning's and other restaurants.
Clean, big rooms! Front desk was excellent. Hotel is easy to find along the main route through town. Will stay here again after a grueling day of driving through Kansas. First sleep inn we've tried and was impressed. Breakfast was good with hot and cold items. A McDonald's is across the parking lot and a wonderful sit down place, eggberts across the street.
The hotel is nice and clean, we have stayed there before while in town to visit family. BUT be warned!!! Double check and triple check your reservation with the hotel!!We had booked our room weeks in advance and I had my email confirmation but when we got there, the lady at the front desk immediately started acting like there was a problem before she even looked up my reservation and then told me she had no record of our reservation and they had no double rooms left (I have a family of 4). She also offered no help to resolve or find us a room somewhere else. My husband noticed a large party and wonders if they gave our room away. . . I'm sure they will deny, but we still won't book here in the future for fear of having no where to stay after a 13 hour drive!
For a small town hotel this was a decent stay. Clean room and nice bed. Didn't partake in the breakfast, as I usually don't. The shower head in room 308 ruined my stay. It was a cheep head, that didn't adjust as it was made to do. Most of the water came out as one big stream. Other than that a pretty good stay.
It is a shame that this property fails in so many tiny ways, since it has the potential to be a great place. However, our room had the worst carpet I have ever seen in a hotel. Stains all over. And not just one here and there - it looked like the carpet in an all-you-can-eat buffet. Outside of this, the room was very comfortable, with a large bathroom and comfortable beds. The door hook (the one up high) was broken, but this is the second one I have seen this way on this trip, so it must be becoming a common do-not-repair item. There are training opportunities here, too. We were going to use the laundry. The front desk said they would sell us laundry soap. Instead I was sold some Oxyclean laundry booster. This is not soap. I explained that to the desk clerk, who started a "yes it is" - "no it isn't" contest. Not only did she not know, but she did not want to know. I ended up using shavings from the facial soap with the booster. The breakfast was the standard offering at this chain - waffles, hot things, cereal, juice, toast. Plenty of space in the clean breakfast room. The waffle mix was empty when I got there, but they did make more when asked. Took them about 15 minutes to do that, and was rather grumpy about it until I gave her a big smile and a thank you, when she then cheered up. This is a nice place, and could be a great place. A little coaching of the staff (a smile once in a while would work wonders), and a carpet shampooing and I would have given this five stars.
